I wish that I could wake up with amnesia

sometimes i get this urge to write you a letter, and then i remind myself we just admitted to liking one another. sometimes i wish i could just grab your hand in the hall, and walk you to class - or let you walk me, and then i remember that won't happen. sometimes i wish each little kiss in public wasn't only away from here, but i understand why it's that way. i've realized this isn't an everyday thing, no matter my age. but, as silly as it sounds - believe it or not, i think you're worth it. part of a summer, and not even a couple of months added onto that, and i think the hassle and the secrets and the hiding is worth it. i'd rather kiss you in a closet with no one looking vs having to see anyone else get put their lips on yours, selfish as that sounds.
