Recently submitted a headshot for an upcoming project, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to post my #ArtvsArtist2020. I spent 2020 sinking my head into my sketchbook whenever time allowed. It was the place I escaped to for exploration, peace & solace. Knowing that there was no direction, limitation, or deadline felt novel, especially when the bulk of my time was swallowed by commissions & commercial work. Grateful nonetheless! I haven’t shared these eclectic mix of drawings/paintings from my sketchbook (aside from a couple in my Stories), but I’d like to do so before we wrap up 2020. They’re quite different than most of my line drawings, but it’s a small glimpse into what I look forward to most in 2021. After 50+ hours & over 200 #pibbles drawn, this fiberglass statue is finally ready to go up for auction as part of @4thedogs_fots Virtual PupArt 2020 charity event. . The auction will raise money to help pay for medical bills for the sick & injured dogs of @franklincodog . PupArt begins tomorrow, Wed., Aug. 12 at 7:30p and closes Sat. Aug. 15 at 9p. Since the release of @procreate 5 earlier this month, I set aside an hour each day to put together a one-line animation (currently still a #wip). .
