maybe this is not my place to say because I am monolingual, and I'm sure it's part of a larger, more nuanced discussion about visibility and accessibility on the internet, but I think it'd be cool if people posted in their native languages more instead of in english. I see people do it way more on other platforms than on tumblr which is almost exclusively in english

One thing that Twitter did really great is allow for automatic translation in one click. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing, and you see people having conversations in different languages thanks to that. Maybe tumblr could add something like that?

I imagine that people speaking their native languages could incentivize tumblr to implement that as a feature? 👀

Like, 10-15 years ago most platforms had no dedicated spaces to input your pronouns, and now most of them do because people created that demand
