Fanfic recommendation:

If you're into fics with great character dynamics, humor, and just the right amount of emotional depth, then I highly recommend Where You Belong (Part 4 of the series) by wanderingflame.

The writing really shines in the interactions between President Loki (who the author made me get to love), Don, and Asgradian people. Don, even though he’s just a mortal, holds his own and even surprises Loki (again) with how resilient and understanding he is. The story has these subtle emotional beats where you can feel Loki’s internal conflict—wanting to be close to Don but not really knowing how to admit it to himself.

It’s not too heavy, but it still has plenty of depth—giving you glimpses into the emotional layers beneath the surface, like a veil that keeps lifting and leaves you even more curious to see the full picture. There are also some humorous moments, which is part of what makes it so hard to put down.
