Can someone tell me what is going on here? What is the larger "fly" and does it typically eat house flies? I don't think they are mating. If they are, the smaller one clearly wasn't enjoying it.

Went for a hike in #bcsp today. Tried taking the girls mountain biking for the first time. They need a little more practice before they are ready for the trails.
