So it’s not always easy for me to ask for help, but Yoko contracting Parvo really hurt me financially. I was saddled with a $2002.06 bill that I’ve done my best to pay down. I had to open and max out a credit card for the $850 down payment and the rest is paid through a monthly payment plan. In trying to combat both the payments and the interest from the credit card, I have even had to turn to predatory payday loans or borrowing money from family in emergencies (ex. My brake caliper went out on one wheel making it dangerous to drive and in turn I had to also replace the rotor and brake pad on that wheel as well).

Yoko is my emotional support animal for my PTSD and anxiety. My only options were either to put her down or let the vets do everything possible to save her. Yoko spent 7 days in the hospital with the first 5-6 days unable to keep down any nutrients delivered through a feeding tube. While her stomach lining 5 months later is still recovering, she’s doing so much better.

As a 25 year old with who gets paid once a month and student loans and other bills, this has been a lot. I’ve done what I can to also cut so much from my budget as well that isn’t a necessity. I understand this year has been a hard one for everyone, so even the smallest contribution would help! Even if that means only sharing. Thank you!

And to answer any questions, she was had 3/4 rounds of her vaccinations and I am not trying to get out of paying anything. I’ve been paying roughly 250 a month, if not more, towards both the payment plan and the Care Credit card. I just really need the assistance. Even $.50 is helpful. Or just a share.
