has anyone sat down and thought how similar neil josten (aftg) & shoyo hinata (haikyuu!) are from each other? yeah yeah, they have different and complete opposite personalities, contrasting childhoods, and unique character traits and abilities, but is simply that they have many things in common that i can't help to think about it.

Both are the main protagonists (in their respective media ofc)

Both exist in a sports-focused world.

THE RED/ORANGE-HAIR.

Both are canonically short.

My favorite coincidence: they both rock the number 10 on their jerseys in their first year.

They both have a orange uniform (the karasuno national outfit)

They are the fastest on their teams.

Both enter a “lame and broken team” that nobody has hopes on for winning at first, and then plot twist, suddenly cards change. (their talent and personalities raises the team spirit and mayor events, character dedication and devotion mix to raise the team level during their series)
