Biting the bullet and practicing drawing Obi Wan. Especially his hair at angles.

Loved @inky-axolotl Obi-Wan drawings so so much I just had to try and redraw them. Been thinking about their style for a week now before I finally just sat down and drawn it through the art block. They make him so expressive and lovely. It was a fun and very informative practice. Thought me a lot about drawing beard and hair without adding too realistic details.

I headcanon that Obi-Wan taught Anakin the tea ceremony. Because Qui-Gon taught it to him.

Anakin always liked to work with his hands, so I bet he would get pretty good at this, not really realizing how calm it made him to do each step. And while learning from Obi-Wan??? They would sit together and go through the motions, totally in sync. By the end, Anakin would feel so peaceful and clear-headed. And also so close to Obi-Wan. Learning the tea ceremony that Qui-Gon had passed down to Obi-Wan, having a special ritual just for the two of them. I think Anakin would remember that forever.

The tea ceremony was used to promote friendly relations and the drink was shared. I like the idea of Obi-Wan and Anakin enacting a symbol of their bond through making and sharing a cup of tea.

"Because I said so" straight up isn't as good an answer as you think it is.
