I’m still here. Chronically Ill but here. In the past year I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. It’s a degenerative disorder that will eventually cause my spine to fuse on its own. But it affects all parts of my joints. Specifically my hands, knees, and feet.

So Art, Ice Skating and dance have been on hold for a good while. :(

I had injections into my Cervical Spine C4-6 today (neck area) and holy crap it hurt so bad. I’ve taken Clonazepam for the procedure - and Baclofen (muscle relaxer) but I’m afraid I’m going to have to break out the big meds and take a tramadol. (Opiate) Because I was already a 8/10 pain going in when they hit the nerve before the lidocaine hit, I about jumped out of my skin.

Anyways. That being said, I’m in pain. Can’t sleep. And miss everyone.

Toothless did a great job keeping company over me today. But I wish a nap would have happened.

And so it begins my weeks of testing for health issues. I’m also kinda freaking out because I didn’t know my EMG was going to involve needles… and it’s too late to get an anxiety med 🙃 but labs are done for the GI. Pain Dr. today. PT evaluation on Monday for the bursitis in my hip that’s making it hard to do much. - CT next week but I have to pick up my contrast before that. Followed by the gastric emptying study… followed by the EGD/Colonoscopy to figure out wtf is going on with my body that I continue to look considerably pregnant after I eat anything.

Oh but the Gabapentin has helped a lot with the neck pain.

My health has been in the literal garbage, so I’m in need of some supplemental income at the moment.

I’ve also been submitting applications like crazy for a second job and theres been no bites.

This is the first month I’ve been genuinely worried about if I’m gonna get to eat or have gas and be able to pay rent.
