Alright so first being how they fit in with the whole angel stereotypes (with white wings, the whole goodie-shoes personality, and a prist dad yes we having that lore man and it would just push that image that was put on you when your powers were coming)
So of course people would LOVE you. People fear what happens when they die, the sins and wrong doings they did. So they would see you as a message from God himself to help- save them.
Soldier Boy would see you as a threat to his fame. When he means that NOBODY from HIS team surpassed HIM which would end him killing them. He means it.
He would do anything to get you back in line to HIS control. Such as spreading misinformation to the church that you deeply care for and your father being a priest there would cause issue for you as well.
He go to any extends to get your life ruin.
Which he did.
He would know about the secret relationship between you and Black Noir. And would hold it as black mail to you since it would go against Vought's rules. Vought doesn't think it would be marketable to have the silent supe be with Payback's sweetheart.
Earving. His name was Earving. Playing the silent and gruesome Black Noir completely ruthless towards his opponents. Nobody knows this but he appears to have a soft spot for innocent life. It range from children and animals, but you had such a magnetic pull on him, never once pulling away from you. The most sweetest person he ever meet in his life. The relationship bloosom between you both and soon you were in a relationship with Earving of course you kept in the low for the sake of you both.
Sadly Soldier Boy somehow would find out sooner or later.
One day you would snapped at Soldier boy. It was only you two in that room. It left you vulnerable to him. He could easily kill you if he wants to. Most likely Vought would cover it up and would make a shitty excuse of you dying.
"Drug overdose."
"Suicide."
"A broken heart."
"You know Soldier Boy? If you keep treating people like this- you would be killed. Or be fucking alone since nobody wants to be with you." You remember letting those words slip out. You couldn't help yourself any longer. You were always the kind of people to just open up. Show your emotions even the bad ones like sadness and anger. Or how Soldier Boy says it.

So many times you push to help Soldier Boy. Try to understand him, but nothing. He didn't wanted to be emotional to someone who was weaker than him. Physically he can kill you easily, but one thing he doesn't have is handling emotions.
Maybe that's why you loved by many. Because you genuine wanted to help people. Being able to express your emotion even if they were sadness and anger and also able to cope healthy.
Soldier boy just looked at you. Only staring. Then he slowly walk over to you. He cradle the side of your face. Your heart beating rapidly.
"Always like how you always honest. Honest to your leader. Honest to me." Pressing his thumb down to your cheek. His green eyes piercing at your e/c.

Alr so now I wanna mention the abilities and also the disadvantaged they have because why not 🥹
Improve Eyesight: Being able to see from a far distance. (This cause your pupils to dilated)
Reduced Muscle and Bone Density: This could help in making the body lighter, though it might come at the cost of strength.
Improved Navigational Instincts: Similar to birds, you might develop better navigational instincts to fly long distances.
Enhanced Hearing: To compensate for the noise and distance, an extended hearing range could be beneficial for both speaking and hearing from far away.
Second Eyelid: To protect from wind and particles. (And also I image if y/n doesn't have this then they would wear goggles and have to use eye drops regularly from their dry ass eyes.)
Increased Metabolism: To generate more energy for flight, a higher metabolism. (Which also means eating food to gain calalories to which you have to loose to balance out)
Healing factor: of course you would need to be able to heal especially from big blows from Soldier Boy! BAD PEOPLE Sadly it doesn't extend on generative new limbs or wings if someone decides to tear that apart from your body.
