Adrien as an amputee.

Ok lemmie explain. This was originally a bloodymary headcanon to make adrien and simon bond even more, BUT just in general I think its a really interesting idea.

So this links to a much bigger idea/rant of mine about eridian life cycles, how their egg laying works, conditions for the eggs etc, but im not going into all that (yet. I will if people are interested) but I went on a deep dive about different crystals i think adrien might be made of and I came up with 2 things.

-adrien is from a more 'respected class' than rocky. I didn't want eridians to have classes, but I've ended up deciding that adrien is, in my head, 'posher' than rocky, almost?? This system is built on the materials that the eridians are made out of really. There's crystals, geodes, ores, and rocks. Now there isnt a divide between them as to say, all classes are very thoroughly mixed and equal, but theres a very old fashioned deep seated type belief or vage acknowledgement that yeah idk does that make sense. Idk im losing myself. MOVING ON.

-adrien is therefore because of what there made out of, More fragile. Crystals are the most fragile, so there typically dancers entertainment, delicate workers while (obviously) rocks are more rough labour workers. Adrien is a geode, so part crystals and part rock. Adrien is infact an architect (with biology and zoology qualifications) but despite that they have crystals and rock parts.

In my au let's say, I ended up deciding thst adrien somehow shattered one of their front limbs so now they have a sort of nub/half limbs that they can move. But is otherwise usless. Despite this, they are still one of the most revered and respected people in the industry.
