The cast is forced into yet another team-based adventure. Jax continues battling with his inner demons telling him to push Pomni away. The adventure puts Jax and Pomni's trust in each other to the test.

In the among us show's canon, even though MIRA may have their claws in most facets of society, it does seem like laws and ethics exist and most individuals still have some degree of autonomy when it comes their choices (even if some of it may be illusion of choice) so you get some instances where they're able to exercise that autonomy and their rights (e.g. the existence of unions, Red being able to recruit Purple even though Purple was blacklisted). When you put camcap in a setting like ALNST though, where practically none of that is nonexistent because the cast are treated as objects of entertainment than actual people, I think they'd be pushed into some dangerous extremes. In canon, the alien predators are a secret, and you might die; in ALNST, there are no holds barred, you WILL die. It is important to acknowledge that in a setting like this, both of them would be victims of the system who happened to have different ways to survive.

Purple would be a lot like Hyuna, that much is obvious. Full-on anti-authoritarian rebel who thrives in being able to help other victims of the system, being free and having a fulfilling lifestyle outside of the aliens' clutches... and yet their heart had never really left the place where they grew up (because Red was still there). Purple would feel complicated every time they see Red on the big screens because Red's living it up, relishing in the validation of monsters that made their life hell in the first place, and being complicit in continuing the cycle, getting others killed while thriving in the praise as the "greatest performer."

I think AU Purple would ironically have a lot more freedom than canon Purple, by virtue of having (mostly) escaped the system that was oppressing them; Canon Purple never got the chance to disrupt the status quo because of a number of factors (e.g. still being stuck in the system, not having enough support/stability to safely blow the whistle, MIRA having plausible deniability). in ALNST, once you escape the system, you're out for real... unless your heart is still in there anyway. With no authority figures that can put their oppressors under accountability, the only choice to rebel would be to run away first. Purple probably wanted to run away together with Red, but Red chose to stay and Purple would take it as Red "betraying" them by choosing the glory and glamour of fame and attention over what they had.

Red... Oh Red.... Canon Red does have precedence for sucking up to their superiors and being obsessed with maintaining the image of a "good captain," but AU Red would be 10x worse than canon. Pivoting HARD into seeking the validation and praise of their caretakers and "fans", not only because of the heedy rush that they get from it, but also out of pure survival instinct—it feeds their ego, but this was also the only way they knew how to survive. They'd be a good and obedient pet, a charismatic idol. The brightest star. They'd wear the mask of the "greatest performer" as if it was their skin, constantly in a state of survive, survive, survive... but the only thing that could rile them up and make them feel vulnerable, feel like a person, feel anything again was seeing their old flame, their old anchor, Purple.
