You’re losing interest in me and i’m losing everything

I saw the signs but i chose to ignore them. the distant look in your eyes and the lack of emotion, the lack of effort you began to give and how our conversation just seemed to end. i didn’t want to accept the truth that was bluntly in front of my face. You were slowly losing interest in me and that made my heart break.

One of the hardest things is to watch someone slowly lose interest in you.

And when my mother asks me what’s wrong I just say I’m tired because I don’t have the heart to tell the woman who gave me life that I don’t want it anymore…
