Dae Raethorn was born to a noble Sun elf family in the Great City and raised to be the perfect heir to the family. Despite all the training, they found themself unable to perform perfectly. Dae felt guilty for wanting a different path than the life set out for them. Shortly after their 100th birthday, they ran away from home to avoid having to publicly decline their betrothed.

They joined an adventuring party, got cursed (became blue) and chopped off their hair during an emotional break down. The adventuring party slowly broke down over three years leaving Dae with some…. abandonment issues and a fear that most paladins want to kill their dad. Then they lost their leg from an infection, whoops!
