The Cyber Doctor

I’m very happy to announce that the episode I worked on for @janinemrivers’ Twelfth Doctor Adventures fan audio series (as featured in Doctor Who writer Paul Cornell’s newsletter, no less) has finally materialized!

The Doctor decides to take Antonia to an old favourite – Elizabethan England, in the time of Shakespeare. But with Shakespeare busy writing Taming of the Shrew, it’s lesser-known playwright Ayland Francey’s chance to shine with his revolutionary new tale, The Guests of Middleton House.

His reputation might have faded by Antonia’s time, but back in his day, Francey is leaving the crowds speechless. As Antonia begins to realise, history is all too good at silencing dissenting voices… but she gets the shock of her life when the Doctor seems to take history’s side.

Antonia is about to learn a harsh truth about time travel. But even when she does, will it be enough to stop her from getting her way? With a ruthless agent on their tail, and the lies of history exposed, not everyone will make it out alive.
