All The Good Girls Go To Hell
Part 1 - 7
Draiden looked at the small bundle sleeping in the small cot in his room. The news of Apple was so sudden that the staff was making her room still.
Now five years old, Apple was allowed to attend school, her back was straight and her head held high, she was finally going to attend school, kindergarten really even though she should have gone to pre-kindergarten, but Queen Blanc preferred for her to begin school a bit late.
She wore the school uniform, a red knee length skirt, a baby blue short sleeved button up shirt, knee high socks and Mary Jane shoes. Her hair was in a tight bun that made her scalp hurt but her great grandmother didn't care as she made the maid do her hair.
She pulled the straps to the backpack closer to her and made her way to the class she was supposed to attend.
"Be polite, and do not disgrace the Snow White legacy so early," Queen Blanc said with a snide voice.
"Yes your highness," she said softly as she looked up at the school.
She was excited and scared at the same time, but her great grandmother told her that princesses don't cry in the first day of school just from being scared so there went that idea of at least asking for some comfort from the woman as well as her father since he wasn't there in the morning to greet her when she got out of her room.
She just couldn't wait to make friends. That's all she wanted right now.
A friend.
As she entered the room she noticed that it suddenly gone quiet.
Everyone knew she was Apple White, what with the snow white pale skin, red lips, the features that were posted in magazines that the paparazzi took of her when she was a toddler.
They also knew who she was because of their parents telling them the story of Evil White.
She didn't know the amount of fear a few of the students had on her.
She looked around, a platinum blonde girl with a darker shade of blue eyes sat next to a raven haired girl with wolf ears.
From their description she knew one of the two were her step aunt because she was the daughter of her grandfather.
The Good King, meaning that the pale blonde was her Evil Queen.
She started to take a step towards her and the other girl but was blocked by a girl who she suspected to be of fae descent.
"What do you think you're doing?" she asked her with a snooty tone.
Apple was about to speak but the teacher came forward and pulled Apple away roughly from the fae, "leave your classmate alone Ms. White," they said with an angry tone. Ms. Lamb didn't mean to be rough with the young girl, but this was THE Apple White, spawn of Evil White, who knows what the bastard child could do at this age.
She pulled Apple outside the classroom and chastised her to leave Faybelle Thorn alone and to not cause any trouble with any of the other students. Apple tried to defend herself, but Ms. Lamb wasn't letting her speak and Apple nervously dug her nails into her palms, too nervous and anxious at the idea of getting in trouble even if it wasn't her fault.
That was just the beginning of her horrible school years to come.
Every school year was the same, her teachers were aggressive with her as well as quick to side with anyone who tried to bother her and never let her defend herself. But they were quick to act polite and sweet to her great grandmother and dad whenever they visited the teacher to see her progress.
She was now in 4th grade, now nine years old and she dreaded going to school, but even she knew she couldn't tell her father or Queen Blanc because she knew her father really couldn't do anything about her schooling since she knew he didn't have a say in anything and Queen Blanc would tell her to suck it up.
She had found out halfway through her first semester of kindergarten the reason for most of the hostility that she was experiencing during school even when she was outside the castle to just play outside.
It was when she was trying to make friends in the playground when both Sparrow Hood and Duchess Swan blocked her way from walking up to Raven King-Queen who was playing in the sandcastle. Again.
And when she teared up asking why they were both being mean they told her the truth, the whole truth which left the whole playground silent.
She at first didn't believe them, until she went home crying to her dad and to her shock he confirmed her worries.
Queen Blanc was no help, all she did was lecture Apple that now that she knew the truth that she had to behave herself and be a good little princess.
Specifically be a good and proper Snow White who stuck to her tale once she signed her name on The Storybook of Legends, no ifs, or buts.
Every day she was reminded of this, from the moment she wakes up and Queen Blanc reminded her of her mantra as a maid did her hair.
A good Snow White stays in her place
A good Snow White is a damsel in distress
A good Snow White is good and kind
A good Snow White is a proper princess with manners
And finally,
A proper Snow White is to stay within her tale and not question anything
It was a mantra she said every morning as the maid did her hair and before she went to bed, Queen Blanc watching her as if they were her prayers.
She just wanted friends and it did not help that paparazzi began to try and talk to her whenever she left the castle with a nanny.
"Ms. White are you going to follow your mother's legacy?!"
"Ms. White will you attend Ever After High once you're of age or will you be in juvie by then?"
They asked so many questions and some of them scared her.
She knew she was THE Next Snow White, a new version of her ancestor's tale. Knew that she was destined to be poisoned for being more beautiful than her evil step mother only to awoken by true love's kiss.
Knew that she had a legacy story and happily ever after stored in her future and she knew that she should be reassured at that, but she was scared about her possibly turning evil and trying to hurt people. The constant questioning was beginning to scare her and make her nervous.
-----
Apple knew what her mother did for her to be sent away, but no one had informed her of how her mother had an affair with multiple princes and knights. Everyone in the older generations knew it was an open secret, but no one told Apple, her father and great grandmother didn't think she had to know that part of what Diana did until she was much older.
Until she got curious on the one who would be the one to wake her up from her poisoned sleep, she knew it had to be a prince so during class she would stare at a few of the male students and during recess she'd do the same while sitting down in one of the picnic tables. She was innocently staring that was all, but then Duchess Swan stepped in her view and sneered at the blonde.
"What do you think your doing Snow Freak," she said with a sneer.
Apple flinched a little, after Duchess and Sparrow told her the truth she began to bully Apple, mostly name calling and that's what she hoped it would stay to.
Other than a bit of tripping and pinching her whenever no one was watching Apple.
Other students ignored her, while Briar Beauty and Raven King-Queen were pulled away from her whenever she was around, the only time other students interacted with her was when a class assignment forced them to interact with her but even then they either ignored her or spoke with her only a little.
"Nothing at all," she said with a calm voice.
'Snow Whites do not stutter nor have improper speech,' she reminds herself of a rule that her great grandmother told her when she was old enough to remember.
Her fingers curled up and her nails weakly dug into her palms to help her calm down as her stomach began to hurt whenever she got nervous. Her stomach felt as if there were butterflies in them, and she really wished her hair wasn't in its tight bun that its always done up on because otherwise she would be nervously playing with her hair like she did in the semi privacy of her bedroom.
"I saw you looking at Prince Slash Charming. Who knows you might be related," Duchess said with a sneer.
Apple blinked slowly and gave her a shaky smile, "what do you mean?" she asked almost stumbling on her words.
Duchess hums and rolls her eyes, "ask daddy dearest yourself," she said with a huff and pointed at Apple, "don't think about looking at any other prince," she hissed before she walked away.
Apple didn't know what she meant, she had to ask her great grandmother or her father.
----
Sobs came from the pillow that Apple had laid her head on, her body shuddered and she sat up hugging her pillow close to her chest as she thought back to what she just learned.
She was a bastard child.
Diana White cheated on her soulmate, her Prince Charming, with multiple men.
Anyone could be her father, any prince in her generation could be her half brother or half cousin.
She rubbed her eyes, she now felt tired as she thought things over about what she learned and it finally dawned on her why Queen Blanc was acting the way she was to her.
Because Diana White, her granddaughter, had stained the Snow White legacy by being a harlot, harming and killing people all because Mira Queen, her step mother stayed married with Edward King after their tale ended.
She did not want Apple to do the same.
But Apple was innocent, she was an unknown factor to everything that happened.
She was an accident and an unexpected surprise outcome of the consequences of Diana White's bloodshed and adultery.
Her future felt like a blur now.
She understood why the students gave her scared looks, they believed she would turn evil just like Evil White and the teachers didn't help when they blamed things on her that didn't have to do with her.
And now she understood why her father gave her the looks he thought she couldn't see him. He looked sad and a little heartbroken.
All because of Diana White.
Because thanks to her mother her future wasn't so bright to her at all.
It was a horrifying black canvas since she didn't even know what her tale had for her.
Apple felt her eyes sting as it all clicked together in her head.
She was the daughter of a supposed great fairy tale character who became evil.
She was a bastard child whom no one that slept with Evil White wanted to take a DNA test for.
And everyone in her generation was terrified of her believing that she was secretly evil or something.
All because Diana White was obsessed with being fairest and believing a marriage shouldn't continue once the story ended.
She turned to the side to see the mirror on top of her dresser and her heart squeezed tightly and she felt her breathing to begin to quicken as she realized all this began because of a magic mirror and because of her mother's ridiculous conclusion on a marriage that was of true love. She stood up quickly and rushed over to her walk in closet and took out a white bed sheet and took a deep breath as she covered her mirror.
Her mother was obsessed with her looks, she wouldn't let the same thing cause her to spiral into madness.
She will not allow it, she will be a pure Snow White, she'll fight for it even if she had many obstacles to go through.
Even if she was born out of many sins that hurt many people.
She shall be a good Snow White even under certain circumstances.

Apple hugged herself and took deep breaths as she looked around inside the well that she had accidentally walked fell into, she had just wanted to take a short walk in the woods behind her castle. She had tripped over some tree roots and fell inside the well, her back hurt a little so she was very positive that her back would be bruised.
She just wanted to at least have at least bit of fun before she began to attend freshman year of Ever After High. Once she began the school year, the legacy she trained and learned to achieve will be in her grasp and she could prove that she, Apple White, was not her mother and would be the best Snow White of their generation.
But right now she was panicking from being stuck in the bottom of the well.
The 14 year old was nervously playing with a curly strand of her hair as she felt her breathing quicken, her heart clenched, her lungs felt they were on fire, her head started to hurt and her hands shook before her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she passed out not noticing the head of someone's head peaking down the well.
Apple groans and as she slowly opened her eyes she gasps sitting up as she realizes she was out of the well, she looked around, trying to catch the sight of the person who saved her. The only thing near her was a dear and a bunny, there was also a bunny sniffing around her.
How grateful she was that at least animals weren't terrified of her. They were happy to talk with her or ok with being near her anytime they saw her outside or near her window.
But no one was around causing her to frown and so she stood up in shaky legs, she was glad her outfit wasn't torn up.
Her great grandmother would not take kindly to her being reckless in the woods.
She looked around and quietly whispered a thank you and petted the bunny softly as if to tell the bunny goodbye before rushing over back home. She still had things to pack up for her first year in the boarding school.
However, once she was in her bedroom she noticed her bracelet that she was gifted by one of her old maids was gone and she remembered she had it on before and while she was down in the well. Meaning that the person who helped her out of the well took the bracelet as payment.
She really hoped things would go well for her this year.
Just three more years and her tale will begin.
She'll prove to be a good and fine Snow White.
----
Milton Grimm sighs as he looked at the rooster of the students in the freshman year to come and his lips thinned upon seeing a certain name.
Apple White.
As well as Raven Crimson King-Queen.
Ms. White from what he had seen in the transfer papers was a quiet student but she did cause a bit of trouble, nothing major, just slight teasing towards other students. Her fairy tale gift was not shown in paper, however it was found she could at least speak to animals like past Snow Whites.
He'd have to speak with her once arrived in campus.
Who knows what the girl was capable of, he'd have to keep a watchful eye on her.
Raven King-Queen was the opposite of her destined enemy, she was great princess who loved to help around in her kingdom, such as volunteering at carnivals and other charity events.
Sure the platinum blonde had magic like Mira, but from what he read Mira had taught her daughter on how to do both light and dark magic. She even knew how to handle the magic if her emotions got a little out of hand. All in all Mira and Edward's daughter was a very bright princess, she even was fine with her future roll knowing that her royal status would go away once their tale began.
He sighs, he knew he would begin to get complaints from the parent of students about Apple White attending the school, he'll just send them an email to reassure them that their children will be perfectly fine. Might have to reassure them that Apple will have an eye on her.
Other than that there was also the curious case of Cerise Badwolf-Hood, he had met her sister and it was interesting to see what role she would receive in their parents tale. Very curious and intriguing when both dressed as one of their parents but who knows what role each has until Ramona looks into her page in The Storybook of Legends.
----
Her freshman year wasn't that great, sure it was the first time she was away from her home, but now she had been constantly around people who were terrified of her because of who her mother was or didn't respect her because of her being a bastard child outside of a marriage.
Other than that she kept hearing taunts thrown at her on how weak of a ruler her father was, how stupid he was, and how much of a... certain word he was for letting Evil White do what she did.
She had been happy for to be able to have a dorm, but her roommate was Duchess Swan and the other teen was still much of a bully to her, she didn't know how she got roomed with the girl.
What she didn't know was that Duchess had personally asked Headmaster Grimm herself to be able to room with Apple so as to keep an eye on the Evil White spawn and help out if she stepped out of line.
She really tried to keep out of the way of the ballerina, but she kept constantly getting thrown verbal abuse towards her when Duchess believed Apple couldn't hear her and all Apple could do was dig her blunt nails into the palm of her hands. She would even take the sheets off her mirrors that her great grandmother had sent for her. She still believed Apple liked mirrors and all Apple did was give a nervous giggle and look away to seem as id she were busy.
Then the rumors began.
That she sang badly in the mornings, which was untrue, she had been forced to practice singing since she could talk so many times a day that her throat hurt so bad that it felt as if it were being scratched by sharp pointy foods.
That she talked loudly to the animals in the morning outside the window in their rooms, untrue since she kept her talking to a whisper, she never had anyone else to talk with during her childhood other than her family and a few of the maids, so her speaking above a whisper sometimes hurt her throat.
You could blame that on not having any friends throughout her childhood and having to sing constantly at a high tone causing her throat to hurt at the mere moment she spoke above a normal tone. Whispering or speaking in a soft tone was what she could handle.
That she was always in front of her mirror, lie, she was terrified of mirrors, she could only stand being in front of one for less than 5 minutes just to do her hair and see if she had to fix a quick blemish in her skin.
Apple ignored the rumors, she didn't want to confront anyone if they tried to even bring it up.
But Blondie Locks thought it was the perfect opportunity to use that info to make a segment in her MirrorCast show that, she surprised the blonde with sitting in front of her at the lunch table she sat in with Humphrey holding her MirrorPad with a live going on.
The blonde had become flustered and looked down on her lap as Blondie rattled on questions about the rumor.
She stayed silent, until the next question made her dig her nail into her palms and made her flinch a little.
"What does it feel like being the daughter of Evil White? Surely you're going to follow your mother's tale-"
"I am not nor will I ever go off book, I Apple White will follow my ancestors proper legacy," she softly said, her throat beginning to hurt as she spoke above a whisper.
Blondie had blinked and smiled but she was stopped as Apple stood up and gave her a smile, a small one but one that looked proper and nice, "excuse me, I've lost my appetite," she said softly at an almost whisper before picking up her lunch tray and walking away from Blondie.
What no one saw was her shaky hands before making her way to one of the bathrooms and hid in a stall to calm herself down, she quickly whispered the mantra that was ingrained into her since she learned the truth.
She said the same sentences, but added a new one.
One that she added after so many times she had reporters throw themselves at her begging for questions about her mother or say anything about her father.
"Snow Whites are to not show weakness in front of cameras, only in their tale."
She stayed there until a few minutes before lunch ended and left the bathroom after she calmed down.
Later that day Queen Blanc called to at least praise her for keeping calm during Blondie's interview. Even told her to steer clear of the Lockes child.
Easier said than done, Blondie would just follow her sometimes.
It was just a hard year for her.
----
Briar Beauty nervously paced in her room, it was the summer before Sophomore year, Legacy Year, and she was a bit nervous, she had known the that Apple White would be attending Ever After High since that's where some of the fairy tale characters attended before their tales began.
But she was still terrified of the White heir, even if the girl stuck to herself and didn't talk with anyone didn't mean that she wasn't at least planning something, what with how she kept trying to interact with her since elementary school.
But there were rumors of her in elementary school of being rude to other students.
Even Raven King-Queen was sorta cautious about the girl who is supposed to be her half niece after she learned the story about Evil White.
Her mother was worried for her because of how close of a proximity she was to Apple White, sure it was the same when she was younger, but this time they were living in the same place.
Sure freshman year was ok, the girl kept to herself and didn't cause trouble, but still... the girl was the spawn of Evil White.
The rouge Snow White who became a harlot and harmed Sleeping Beauty and her unborn child, who also harmed The Little Mermaid and killed the Little Mermaid's soulmate.
A knock came from her door and she called out for the person to come in, the door opened to let in Ashlynn Ella, the future Cinderella greeted her and stepped inside the room.
"You ok?" she asked the brunette gently.
Briar nodded before sighing, "just... a little nervous about this year, I... what if she's destined to... go off book or-"
"Briar that was just Diana White, Apple has nothing to do with her mother," the strawberry blonde tried to reassure her friend.
Ashlynn knew from the moment she was able to think for herself that Apple White wasn't another mini Diana "Snow" White who would go on and cause chaos once they graduated. The blonde was too quiet and closed off, she only spoke when needed to and didn't interact with any other student unless it was needed to.
"I know I know, but... I guess I'm a little nervous about signing the book," Briar said.
"So am I Briar, but remember it's important to sign our names, who knows your tale can change for this generation. Remember a few tales have changed a little, your birthday is also on a leap day," Ashlynn said, mumbling the last part.
Crazy that the day Evil White was arrested was on February 29.
So technically her tale would still work, she'd just be a bit... older when she falls into her 100 year sleep.
She wondered how her friend never realized this,
That and that Apple White really wasn't as bad the rumors made her out to be. The girl was just to... closed off to do anything bad, her judgement was never wrong.
----
Raven was in one of the many rooms that Queen castle held, she was practicing her spells, both the light and dark spells, taking deep breaths so that her emotions could settle. She was happy that she could do magic like her mother, but she felt a bit self conscious that her spells could go a bit wonky if she got a little bit overemotional.
Her mind wandered to that of her half niece, she couldn't say why her mind wandered into that topic.
She was scared of the other blonde, she's heard the true story of what happened from her own parents and it has caused her to think about signing The Storybook of Legends.
But she knew it was important to sign the book, either way she knew she could do with her life whatever she wanted once her tale was completed.
Except... she couldn't be positive if she simply poisoned Apple once they were older or if Apple White was destined to go and create problems.
She winced as her lamp's light bulb exploded a little as her magic went a bit haywire from her feeling a bit scared.
There was a knock on her door and she looked up to see her mother walk in with her father, she smiled calming down as she saw them.
"Hey honey, how's it going? Excited for Legacy Year?" Mira asked her daughter as she sat on Raven's bed, she hid a grimace as she noticed the shards of lightbulb. She still didn't know how her daughter's magic could become unstable when her emotions got too strong, it never happened with her at all.
"I'm good... just nervous. Apple has been trying since elementary school to get to know me," Raven said as she bit her lip.
Edward frowned and was about to speak when Mira grabbed his shoulder.
"Edward she's going to have to eventually interact with her half niece," his wife told him gently and he froze before sighing as he realized she was correct. His daughter's tale would begin once she graduated high school, and he greatly disliked the idea of her interacting with his disowned granddaughter.
He sighs and nods, "no yes you have a point, just... be careful," he told his daughter to which she nodded.
----
It was a week before the first semester of Ever After High started, and Blondie Lockes was on Headmaster Grimm's office and smiled sweetly at the man who was giving her a curios glance, she had come here for one thing and one thing only.
"I promise Headmaster Grimm, if Apple White is my roommate this year, then I can keep her in line to becoming the Perfect Snow White that our generation needs," she said with a bright smile.
Blondie had it in her head that with her help that Apple would be steered into the correct direction to go through in her tale, that Apple just needed the PERFECT influence to make her be a good princess.
The perfect Snow White.
Milton was thinking about it, the rumors that he had heard about Apple weren't that bad, sure they made Apple seem a bit rude and a bit narcissistic. However, he had seen how Apple acted through the school cameras or the info some of the teachers gave him.
"I can make her just right," Blondie said confidently.
Milton knew Apple was going to room with Duchess again, but the ballerina hadn't informed him if she wanted to room with Apple, so now that he was thinking about it, she seemed like a better option than Duchess. However, he wasn't entirely sure if he should.
"I wont let her be less than perfect or too over perfect, I'll help her be just right," she said with a smile.
Milton thought it over before nodding, "alright, Ms. White will be informed of the change in her first day back to school," he said to which Blondie smiled and nodded.
----
Apple nervously played with a curly strand of hair, she had been allowed once she was 13 years old by Queen Blanc that she could change her hair by only a little.
She still had the tight bun, but at least she let a few strands frame her face and this was her style when she was home, although she did this hairstyle at school.
At least she was allowed to at least do a braid, still a tight on her scalp but at least she could do a new thing with her hair.
She patted her skirt as if to brush off any imaginary dirt out of nervousness, she took a deep breath and repeated the mantra that she's had memorized for a decade and a half. She unconsciously repeated the mantra whenever her anxiety started to act up.
She wore a simple red paneled skirt that had a leaf pattern with a few apples in it, a red sweetheart bodice that had white sleeves and 4 inch red ankle strap heels, one of the things she wished she had been allowed to wear were simple shoes, but nope, she's worn heals since she was 4 years old. The crown on her head was to show she was a royal, it was almost shaped as an apple, her true crown she would wear once she graduated high school.
She grabbed her suitcase and smiled as she opened her door and made her way to the carriage that would take her to the boarding school. She made her way outside, where she was greeted by a few of the maids who greatly helped raise her. She gave them all a small smile, she then noticed her great grandmother and suddenly looked down before handing her driver her luggage.
She then got into the carriage, she really tried to ignore the conversation going on outside the carriage.
"I can't believe this is the year for her."
"She will make a great Snow White," one of the maids said with a small smile.
"Absolutely! She knows how to sing, dance, knows 8 languages, and knows all the proper manners of a princess just how every Snow White has known for every generation," said another which didn't ease on her anxiety.
"She has the perfect features to be Snow White-"
"Shame she has the blonde hair," Queen Blanc said with a snide voice, "but that's what happens when your mother is a harlot," she said with a huff.
Because sure she had the perfect strict training to become the perfect Snow White for her generation, but she was still a bastard child of Evil White and an unknown prince or knight.
Apple ignored the second part and repeated her mantra, her whole body weakly trembling as she felt close to wanting to cry.
She honestly couldn't remember the last time she had honestly cried.
'Please let this year be good,' she thought to herself as the carriage began to make its travel towards the boarding school that she would stay in for the whole school year.
She hoped she had better luck this time when thinking on the school year.
