Don’t dim someone’s light so much they start to believe they belong in darkness.

You made me believe that the magic in me was nothing but poison.

The problem is that once we see ourselves as if we are made up of pixie dust and magic; we tend to condemn everyone else to their human flaws.

Funny for you to treat my insecurities as if they are strangers when you were the one who gave them names.

There’s no poetic way to say it, there’s no words that’ll rhyme, there’s no clever way to explain it.

How do you expect me to forget you, when you are made up of everything I’ve come to love in myself.

I always wondered why I tend to speak a lot on souls. Must be that mine was lost for so long that when it found its way to me, it made a point to never be forgotten again. Making its mark forever on my tongue.

A moment of clarity: I exist to keep your love within my soul. Wether it be for a moment or a lifetime. Your love was meant to use me as its guardian.

Yes, your lips have claimed my body as your shelter, your touch has made roadmaps of my veins, your words — your words are easily what every ridge of my brain has molded itself into and everytime you speak into me your breath sends chills down my spine rearranging every vertebrae it’s made of. But the power you have over my soul has made a home for itself in the deepest part of my being and that is the most terrifying of all.

Proof that fools do exist : Even though it’s obvious we’re meant to crash and burn, I wouldn’t think twice about exposing myself to you.

Every time i’ve shown you a part of me Ive hated, torn away and picked apart; you’ve touched me until flowers grew instead.

My god have I cried tears for you— though I would not hesitate to collect them all, spill them and weave them into an ocean just to keep our love afloat.

And maybe the universe wasn’t ready for a love like ours. Maybe it thought that with our love we’d be able to breathe oxygen into the constellations, making a world of our own. That our love would be so strong not even the Greek gods would stand a chance against us. That our love would bring peace to the darkest hearts and understanding to the most worn out ones. Perhaps the universe wasn’t ready for the beauty our love would bring—But was it ready for the sorrow my soul would bleed once we were no more ?

I knew you had it in you when you didn’t just silence my demons, instead you did it all while looking at them in the eyes and saying “I am not scared of you, for my love for her will forever hold greater power”

I was always taught to find beauty in the things I fear the most — must explain why your love is so painfully, breathakingly, soul crushing beautiful to me.
