Feeling pissed off because I had a terrible day and wanted to call my bf on his break, he promised that we would but then his coworker insisted that he go get her coffee (despite him telling her more than once that he wanted to call me). Allegedly she has kidney stones and needed something to drink, and I tried to be understanding of that but honestly I'm just mad. If it were just a one-time thing I wouldn't feel this way, but this same coworker is ALWAYS cutting in on his break time and making him take her out for coffee, and idk, it just keeps rubbing me the wrong way.. especially because she's always making flirty comments at him and apparently keeps asking him to show a pic of me- he hasn't done that because he wants to be respectful to me, but the fact that she keeps asking him despite that makes me wonder if she's trying to scope me out or something 😬 AND she tells him that she's had dreams about us???? Like, am I the only one who thinks this is insane??
He usually brushes things off whenever I get annoyed by this stuff, claiming that she just really likes coffee and that she's in a happy marriage and has kids and that her flintiness is just her "being friendly." Also just to clarify, I'm not worried about him cheating or anything like that, I know he loves me and that he wouldn't act on things even if she did make any moves on him. But like, I wish he'd stand up to her more and stop letting her cut in on our time together (some days we only get to talk during his break since he works the night shift and is often sleeping for most of the day). I don't want to keep feeling like I'm a lower priority than stupid coffee lady, and if that makes me a needy attention whore then so be it
