Adam & Isa ;
She sat on the counter with the dish cloth and bowl in er lap, a hum parting her lips as one of them loudly passed the door of their mess tent. Her teeth pulling at the inside of her bottom lip. Brows creasing together and confusion clouding her, what had suddenly bothered Adam? Did he know something she didnât? Did he see the sparks of fire elicited from her fingers the night before? She doubted it, she had concealed all and any evidence of it. She let out a throaty couch, brow raised at him as her hand cautiously lay on his shoulder. Isa didnât really like people or touching them, âDude, whatâs wrong?â she asked, âitâs just a plate. Calm down and breath, did something I say bother you?â she inquired, trying to hide the curiosity from her voice. Sliding herself off the countertop, she hunched over it, elbows resting on it as she haphazardly dried; lazily. Giving it a second before throwing the rag on the side. âCâmon, before you actually break a dish,â she motioned, walking towards the door. âWe're having a break,â not that sheâd really done enough work to constitute a break, she was willing and happy to walk away from the task for a wile.
