astraea & tyler:
He let out a low groan before he had even seen her, sensing from the tone of her voice that she had a lot to say and it was most likely a lot of what he didn’t want to hear. His fingers kneading the dough before him. After a request for donuts, Ty was now attempting how to make them and to the right consistency. He didn’t shift or turn when she began taking, his hues rolling at her words. His brows falling into a sharp frown when he heard the word peanuts, adjusting to face the pair, he dropped the dough with a thud. “Peanuts?” he repeated; his features showing how ridiculously unimpressed he was. “Astrea, if you ever paid attention you’ll know that we don’t serve anything with peanuts in because four kids here are allergic, therefore, we don’t order them. So before you berate me with whatever bullshit you can think of. I didn’t supply the nuts,” he hissed, rolling his eyes at her. Spinning in his step, he moved to the first aid kit that the kitchen had been supplied with, pulling out a small tube, he crouched in front of the little boy. Offering it to him, “this might help with the rashes. I get the same reaction to raspberries,” he sighed, offering him a glimmer of a smile before it disappeared again and he went back to work.
A gasp escapes both her and little Henry. The little boy’s eyes goes wide, a hand flying to cover his gaping mouth. The other staff present had their attention captivated at the scene, eyebrows raised. ”You said a bad word,” the boy mutters in reply to Tyler, his disbelief shows in the way he looks at the older male. One kitchen worker snickers behind the pair as she ushers along with a tub of stinky leftovers. Henry reluctantly looks at the tube handed to him. “First of all,” Astraea starts, swallowing the huge lump of (pride) equally bad profanities wanting to leave her lips. Was he being serious? Was he really going to paint her the stupid one? “I wasn’t insinuating you supplied the nuts, Tyler,”
