I made some wax stamps today!! My family has a cluster of birthdays coming up, and @cwluc had gotten into making wax stamps, so I thought I'd give it a try.

It's a very simple process! Underneath the wax is a normal tea candle. It melts pretty quickly. I think I pressed too hard on the second stamp (the white one), for the third I just left it alone to sit while I cleaned the wax holder.

Cleaning the wax holder is dangerous 😂 I didn't want to let it cool because the wax would stick, which means wiping it while it's still hot.

Supercorp writers, I need you to know something.

There's a guest commenter on AO3 (usually goes by "Amy", but we suspect there are other names too) who seems to just... really hate Kara. (And possibly Alex.) We're not entirely sure why someone would waste so much time reading fanfic for something they hate, but that's neither here nor there.

Occasionally, I see new writers pop up on discord who are sad that they got a negative comment. It's always Amy. I usually share screenshots of my own for comparison, because I want the writer to know they're not alone. Here's an example:

At this point, Amy's become a running joke in the spaces I'm in. A badge of honor. I've seen people joke "When will Amy comment on mine? Am I worthy??" and "Oh Amy's going to hate my newest fic!!" 🤣
