Hi, everyone! Iâm Tay and a few of you know me. Iâm revamping a muse that Iâve been writing for about 2 years. Iâm excited and beyond thankful to be here and to plot with you all! If you like this intro, I will be reaching out for plots! I stepped away from rp for a little bit so Iâm kinda nervous to be back doing things, so be patient with me please! Looking forward to a fresh start!Â
I saw [CECELIA WALSH] at a coffee shop in [MANHATTAN] today. I forgot how much [SHE/HER] looks like [CLAIRE FOY]. They are a [THIRTY-THREE] year old [PROFESSOR/PHILANTHROPIST] whoâs been in NYC for [TEN YEARS] now. Every time we run into each other, they are always [CHARISMATIC & MATERNAL] but Iâve heard people say they can also be [IMPULSIVE & HEADSTRONG]. [SHOW YOURSELF BY IDINA MENZEL] reminds me of them every time it comes on the radio.Â
TW: kidnapping & pregnancy
Her Royal Highness Cecelia AmĂŠlie Victoria Windsor (her real surname) was born at St. Maryâs Hospital, London on June 16, 1987 at 11:32 am
Cecelia was the second child of Prince Arthur and Princess Madeline. Her older brother, Henry, is second in line for the throne. At the time of her birth, Cecelia was third in line for the British Throne, but is now currently fifth following the births of her brotherâs two children so she has been able to have more freedoms during adulthood.
Cecelia was educated at independent schools. She lived a very sheltered childhood and didnât get to experience a lot of things other children did. She didnât feel like she belonged anywhere, and wanted a different life for herself. She couldnât figure out what her purpose was.
Cecelia went on to attend Oxford, where she studied anthropology and archaeology. Once she was away from home at college, she had a rebellious streak because she wasnât used to the freedom. She got involved with a lot of drinking, partying, and even drugs at one point
Over four years, she traveled to many different places such as Egypt, Africa, and Nepal. It was around this time she started using the surname Walsh, her grandmotherâs maiden name. The second she graduated she wanted to leave England so she came to America and settled in NYC
Cecelia met a man who was a commoner and fell deeply in love with him. They became engaged in October 2015 during a trip to Scotland. They were married at St Georgeâs Chapel in England the following April. After getting married, Cecelia started to get busy with her philanthropy work and her PhD course online through Harvard University
Their marriage had its issues, and the two of them did cheat on each other. However, they decided to try to make things work and thought moving elsewhere and having a child might help that. They moved to New York City in early 2019 after Cecelia found out she was pregnant. She continued her work as a philanthropist/charity organizer and started to separate herself even more from her royal role.
Cecelia had their first child, Theodore Arthur, in October 2019.
In spring 2020, Cecelia started teaching anthropology at Columbia.
Her marriage improved for a while but got worse again after she got pregnant with their second child.
Cecelia and her husband separated shortly after she got pregnant again. They just didnât love each other and decided they would both be happier if they went their separate ways. They both live in NYC and co-parent their kids. The divorce is set to be finalized this spring. She recently had their daughter Emma Elizabeth in March 2021.

âhello gorgeous !!â armande grins, needing a moment piece the features of the familiar face fading in and out of view. she reaches forward, grabbing hold of ceciliaâs forearm to beckon her over, âcome, order something. iâve been all alone here for hours.â she motions away ceciliaâs concern with a swipe of her hand as if it hung in the air, skirting around the question of what brought her to such a level of intoxication.
âFine, one drink. Only if you tell me why youâre here, though,â she said, raising a brow at Armande as she waved the bartender over to order herself her usual gin and tonic. âWhat all have you had to drink tonight?â She asked, trying to figure out just how drunk her friend was. âAfter I finish my drink, both of us are leaving. I can either drop you off at home or you can come stay at my place.âÂ
Morgan passed to the next page of the book she had been reading and bit her lip, anxious to know if the male protagonist managed to get home after he found out that his best friend was in trouble. From the begining of the book, she had the feeling that it wasnât going to have a happy ending, but thatâs how life was sometimes, not pink with rainbows and unicorns, but grey and depressing. Some light footsteps approached and she saw very small shoes in front of her. Looking up, she saw a little boy and smiled at him before his mom came to collect him. âItâs no toruble,â she said closing her book. âKids are very curious at this age.â
Theo was at the age where all he wanted to do was explore. Ceceliaâs townhouse was always a mess because of it, and she had to keep her eye on him whenever she took him out of the stroller. Even though this woman said Theoâs disturbance was no trouble, she still felt bad. âYouâre right, they are. He gets into everything, so at home I have to put thing where he canât reach them,â she laughed, shaking her head as she handed her little boy one of his toys to distract him. Then, she saw the book in the womanâs hands and a smile appeared on her face. âWhat are you reading? Sorry if Iâm being nosey, reading is one of my favorite hobbies.âÂ
starter: open ( feel free to assume connections, heâs new !! )
location: a grocery store
@villagestartâ
âthe recipe wanted a specific brand.â malachi chuckles gently herself, holding up the can to to get a clearer view of the small text of ingredients, âiâve been to⌠nine grocery stores?â slipping the can into his shopping basket, the man runs his fingers over his stubble in contemplation, and turns his features back up the person next to him in the aisle. heâs rather proud of himself today, getting out and going to solo activities without feeling a too pathetic, and and wanting to leave, kicking stones all the way back home. he caught himself in the mirror this morning looking fresh, pink cheeks no longer hollow. tugging the worn bleach washed denim tighter around his frame, which heâd probably owned since the 80â˛s, the man rolls back at his shoulders. âwould you by any chance have any experience with throwing birthdays fit for an eight year old?â
Cecelia found grocery shopping to be relaxing. For her, it was a whole experience because she liked to walk down every aisle to see what was new and honestly, she always ended up with way more things than she actually needed. In the aisle she was currently in, she looked up when she heard someone speak to her. âThe brand really doesnât make a difference. At least in my experience it never had.â The name brads were always more expensive. Then, a laugh escaped her lips and she looked to her toddler and baby who were with her. âNo experience with eight-year-olds, but I think I could help you figure something out. I love planning parties.âÂ
Finn pursed his lips, holding in a smile. He wasnât trying to be subtle, but it made him smirk at her forthrightness. âI would say Iâm sorry, because I feel like thatâs what youâre meant to say but I donât like to lieââ he admitted, smiling softly. Her being married was never that big a deal for him. âYou look a lot happier now,â he complimented warmly.
âDonât apologize, the divorce was a mutual decision. And it was the right decision,â Cecelia said, shrugging her shoulders. âYou know as well as I do that my marriage wasnât really a marriage.â Then, a smile spread across her facial features. âThank you. I am a lot happier, Iâm glad you noticed. Itâs nice being single.â Honestly, she missed it. âAnd what about you? Do you have a special lady in your life yet?â

It was high time for a pamper day, and Holly had the perfect pamper companion in Cecelia. Sheâd booked them a full day in one of the best spas in Manhattan, after a night of googling had pointed her in the right direction, and she was beside herself with excitement. âOkay, so, Iâve booked us both in for back and shoulder massages, and then some kind of seaweed peel thing. Iâm not a hundred percent sure what it is, but it sounded like a treat to rehydrate the old skin so I just went with it. And then I think we can use the pool and gym facilities all day. Not that Iâll be going anywhere near the gym because what is exercise?â She laughed, far too amused by her own joke. âYou ready for a day of ultimate relaxation?â @cwlshâ
Cecelia was happy to go with Holly for a spa day. It would be nice for them to take time to relax since they were both so busy with their lives. âThat honestly sounds wonderful. I canât tell you the last time I had a massage. Itâs been forever.â She used to get them all the time, but since becoming a mother her life got more hectic and she put all of her energy into looking after Theo and Emma. âIâd like to use the pool, the gym I can do without though. I love a good workout but not when Iâm trying to relax,â she laughed. âOf course, but the real question here is are you ready?â
Eyebrows raising slightly, Isaac was stunned about how forward Cecelia was being - but he didnât hate it. It felt great and it was an ego boost to have her imply something so suggestive, and Isaac took it as a compliment. âYeah, I would hate to lose sleep over something that can easily be proven,â He played along, not so much joking anymore. âIâd rather be losing sleep over something else.â Isaac had a smirk on his face, but as he looked deep into Ceceliaâs blue eyes, the smirk slowly fell, and he grew more absorbed into how stunning they were.Â
He nodded, listening as she explained. Isaac had been fortunate to grow up around nature and animals, and had been given complete freedom to roam around. If he fell from a tree and scraped his knee, then it wasnât the end of the world. That was something that was interesting about Cecelia; where sheâd come from and how it had shaped her into who she was. Her lips were so soft against his, the way they moved sent shivers running down his spine. He couldnât help but deepen the kiss after she had repositioned herself, his arms wrapping around her waist to hold her close to him - something that she seemed to want to be. After a moment, he pulled away, needing to breathe again, and opened his eyes. âGod, youâre so beautiful.â He whispered, a hand moving up to cup her cheek softly, allowing his thumb to ghost over her bottom lip.Â
-
Cecelia wasnât opposed to making this date an overnight one. She liked how things were going so far, and it was nice to know Isaac was feeling a similar way. âMe too. Maybe we can work that into our plans later, if youâre feeling up to it,â she said, being completely serious. It had been a while for her, honestly, so she was looking forward to it. She didnât mind waiting a little if he didnât want to, but she wanted to see how far she could get. And of course, she couldnât keep her eyes off him as they sat there so close.Â
She wanted to ask Isaac more questions about his upbringing. It was very different from hers and she couldnât help but feel slightly envious that he got to experience so many things. She wished she had grown up an ordinary girl. Although the kiss wasnât entirely unexpected due to the nature of their conversation, it was still perfect and she wished it didnât have to come to a stop. âThank you. Youâre quite the looker too, you know. Youâre exceptionally handsome,â she said, keeping her eyes locked with his. âI feel very lucky that you wanted to bring me out here.â She placed another soft kiss on his lips. âThis day just keeps getting better and better.âÂ
Cecelia decided to take her kids to the park since the weather was nice and warm in New York City. Sitting on a blanket with her infant daughter, she watched her toddler carefully as he played with his toys. Of course, the second she took her eyes off him to tend to Emma when she started to fuss, Theo took off towards a stranger. He was at that age where he was curious about anyone and everything. âTheo, leave the lady be, please. Come back over here,â she said, standing up and walking over. âIâm so sorry, he doesnât have any concept of personal space, so he wants to cuddle everything,â she laughed, taking the little boyâs hand.Â
âiâm fine, really.â sheâs gripping at the edge of the counter, a delayed reaction to the individuals beside hers comment, post almost falling off her bar stool. âthereâs only a few inanimate objects moving right now.â the lawyer has to joke, otherwise sheâd succumb back the panic that drew her to the bar in the first place. she picked somewhere far from home, god forbid anyone from the social circle she associated saw her so toasted she could barely walk. however that was the intention of the night. work was long, arduous. a case with heavy expectations placed on armande armandeâs shoulders, wasnât sure the team would be able to win. plus, lingering thoughts of private life crisis plagues her mind. stupid, arrogant jacksonâŚÂ  if it wasnât for her strong career, and the work ethic that kept armande at the top of her game as a prosecutor, perhaps someone might of caught onto how out of depth she was in her own life. her sudden rush of anxiety had led armande to order another round, sneaking as much time and alcohol as she could before sheâd be cut off by the bartender.
âNo, you arenât. I donât believe you,â Cecelia said to her friend. She had approached Armande when she saw her in the bar and to be honest, the woman looked far from fine. When Cecelia wanted to hide more than usual, she left the Manhattan area, so tonight she ended up at a bar in Queens. âCare to tell me why youâre absolutely smashed? Surely thereâs got to be something going on,â she said, a concerned look on her facial features. âCome on, letâs get you home. Iâm not going to leave you here like this.âÂ
âYouâll have to see if youâre right one of these daysâ - right about Cecelia looking cute with bed hair? Did that mean what Isaac thought it meant? She had this smile on her face; one that Isaac wasnât quite sure what to make of. She was flirting with him, that was for sure, but he wasnât expecting her to do it to this extend. It was a nice surprise, one that had Isaac a little speechless for a moment, before he realized that he hadnât exactly said anything. âI might just have to take you up on that offer. God knows I wonât be able to sleep at night, unless I have my theory proven to me,â A smirk rested on his lips, and his eyes found hers for a second or two - or was it three? He stopped counting, finding himself getting more lost in how they matched the clear sky above them. He snapped out of it though, when she made a joke about his height, and he chuckled, looking down and closing his eyes. Wow, he really had just been left completely speechless for a moment there. âUmâŚ-Yeah, if you want a weather forecast, just let me know.â
âOh? Why was that? Surely they didnât keep you locked up, over there across the pond?â He asked, at first joking a little, but getting a little worried. Had she never climbed in trees as a child? Or gone to a lake on summer evenings when no one else was there, to skinny dip? Humming, he nodded in agreement to her suggestion. âA driver, huh? You mustâve worked really hard for that,â Isaac thought out loud with a smile on his face, kind of proud of her for being able to get that far in life, even though he didnât actually know. He felt her head come down to rest on his shoulder, and he couldnât help the arm that snuck around her shoulder, holding her closer into him. âItâs my pleasure,â His voice was low and gentle as he enjoyed the moment. He could smell her shampoo and it was kind of intoxicating in a way. âSomeone as beautiful as you deserves to see nature thatâs just as beautiful.â His arm that was around her shoulder moved up to reach her chin, his fingers lifting her head off his shoulder. He leaned down, eyes closing mid-way and lips finding hers after a small second, capturing them in a soft kiss.Â

Cecelia preferred to be forward enough, but she liked to keep a little bit of mystery. And it was good to feel it out because she wasnât completely sure how Isaac would react. He definitely seemed to be interested in her suggestion. âExcellent, Iâm happy to hear that. But if you wonât be able to sleep at night until your theory is proven, we might want to make it sooner than later,â she suggested to him, playful smile remaining on her facial features. She liked this moment they were having, so she wasnât afraid to make her thoughts known. Everything felt right in this moment. âYes, I will definitely ask for that. I canât return the favor, being short doesnât have many advantages.âÂ
âWell no, not exactly. My parents were just very strict.â Which wasnât a lie. She wasnât allowed to do many things normal kids did. She had to focus on other things. She and her older brother really only had each other to play with. âI suppose you could say that. It makes things a lot easier, especially with the kids.â Cecelia hoped Isaac didnât think she was too posh or that she was high-maintenance. He was so down to earth, kind, and laid back. As she was called beautiful, she could feel her cheeks turn pink and she was at a loss for words. When she finally was about to say something, his lips were on hers. Happily kissing him back, she repositioned her body and wrapped her arms around his neck to pull herself even closer to him.Â

âNew York is like that, always bumping into familiar faces,â he chuckled, shaking his head. The week heâd had would only prove how small this city truly was. âHowâs it all going in the big city?â he quirked an eyebrow, curiously. While he did flirt religiously with Cecila, he didnât know the ins and outs of her marriage. He knew there was a husband and kids. If he was going to kick his charm up a notch, he wanted to make sure that things were okay to do so.
âRight? Itâs always dĂŠjĂ vu here.â It was a large city that tended to feel small at the same time. She loved New York City and was glad she left London all those years ago. She was happier here. âItâs going alright. Iâm divorced, if thatâs what youâre wanting to know.â Not that that had ever stopped them before. However, now she felt a sense of freedom she didnât have before. âI have been for several months now. He and I were so unhappy, it was for the best.âÂ
A scrunched up nose and a shake to his head was Isaacâs reaction to what Cecelia was saying, followed by a smile. âI bet you look cute,â He flirted, giving her shoulder a nudge with his. âBed hair and sleepy eyes - all of it. I canât imagine anything cuter.â It wasnât exactly surprising to him, how well Cecelia and him got on. The few conversations theyâd had at the park had always left his cheeks almost hurting from smiling so much, and even more intrigued to get to know the woman who always seemed interested in what he was doing. Looking down at his body, he chuckled and nodded his head in agreement. âI think youâre right on that one. Iâll stay clear from any falling near you, I promise. I wouldnât ever want to hurt you.â
Raising his eyebrows, Isaacâs smile only grew. She wanted him to show her the places heâd just listed, meaning she wanted to spend more time with him - and that sounded really great to Isaac! âYeah? Yeah, definitely, if youâre up for it, I can totally do that!â He said, eager to spend even more time with Cecelia. âOf course we can. Thereâs this amazing willow tree, not too far from here, where the branches and leaves are all hanging down to the ground. Itâs beautiful, Iâll show it.â It had become one of Isaacâs favorite places to go, so of course he was going to share it with Cecelia, if she wanted to see it. âWait- you donât? So-⌠hold on, let me start over. When did come to America? Do you not need to drive in England? Or, is it because they drive on the wrong side of the road?â He teased lightly with a gentle smirk.Â
-
âWell, youâll have to see if youâre right one of these days,â Cecelia flirted back, a suggestive smile on her facial features. She was very interested in spending the night with Isaac, however, she wasnât sure if her place was the best idea. Sheâd make it work, though. She didnât know where things with go with Isaac and she wasnât trying to get too far ahead of herself. She planned on taking things one day at a time. â appreciate that. It must be quite nice to be tall, though. Thereâs a whole world up there that I donât even know about,â she laughed. âI stopped growing when I was about thirteen.âÂ
In response to his words, she nodded enthusiastically. âThat would be great. I want to see everything and try new things. I really didnât get to experience much in life until I left for university,â she admitted to him. âLetâs go check it out in like ten minutes or so? It sounds gorgeous and it would be nice to take a walk.â She liked exercise, especially in the outdoors. And she wanted to see what else Lake Canopus had to offer. âAbout ten years ago. I do drive in England but not very often. Iâm very lucky to have a driver.â She was sure Isaac figured it out by now that she had money. âA lot of places are within walking distance to my townhouse, too.â Looking back out at the lake, she took advantage of their close proximity and rested her head on Isaacâs shoulder. âThank you for bringing me here.âÂ
âWhiskey, thank youââ Finn nodded his head, wondering if she had that good of a memory, or if he was just a clichĂŠ. He leaned back into the lounge he perched on, feeling already a little tipsy from the drinks heâd had previously. âIâm glad I got to see you tonight,â he added warmly, his eyes glancing over the features of her face.Â
âI figured as such. One whiskey coming right up,â She said, placing his drink order and getting a gin and tonic for herself. She wasnât too picky when it came to her liquor. She usually drank gin and occasionally tequila. A smile on her lips, she looked over at Finneas. âAre you? Thatâs nice to hear. I can certainly say I didnât expect to run into you tonight, but Iâm happy I did.â It was always pleasant to be around him. âI donât have anywhere to be, so we can sit here and chat as long as youâd like.âÂ

âYou, clumsy? Please, Cecelia, every time Iâve seen you in Central Park, youâve walked with such poise and elegance,â It always impressed him, to no end, when she had a handle on her kids, her dog, walked around in high heels, and looked like she had just stepped out from a model photoshoot. There was nothing clumsy about that. âBut, if you do end up falling and tripping, on the rare occasion, Iâll be there to catch you.â Isaac promised with a wink and a smirk. He really wanted to make sure that Cecelia knew that he was interested in her, and getting to know more about her.Â
Pulling out a bottle of white wine and two glasses from his bag, he placed them down on the blanket. âThere are so many more places around New York that are worth seeing, than just the same old tourist spots in the city, yâknow? Pine Meadow Lake, Breakneck Ridge⌠Theyâre all worth seeing.â He told her, opening the bottle and pouring some of the alcohol into the glasses. He chuckled at her and shook his head. âNo, I usually go hiking. Thereâs a trail in the forest,â He pointed to it, and put the bottle down, instead reaching for the glass to hand it to her. âI like to find seedlings to take home, to grow. I go canoeing. I just really enjoy being one with nature.â He explained and picked up his own glass, moving it to clink with hers. âWell, perhaps it can be more of a regular occurrence, so you donât have to wait several years before the next time youâre on one.â
-
âYouâve just seen me on my good days. I trip over my own feet half of the time. You should see me when I wake up in the morning and havenât had coffee or tea...itâs even worse,â Cecelia said, letting out a laugh. Isaacâs words caused her to quirk a brow at him. âWell, thatâs nice to know. I would say Iâll be there to catch you too, but I think youâd crush me. Youâre very tall.â She was five-foot-two so everyone was pretty much tall to her. âBut metaphorically speaking, Iâm here for you, too. And I hope this isnât our first and only outing together.âÂ
âYou should show me them sometime. Iâve lived in the city for years and donât really explore anywhere other than Central Park. Iâve never heard of any of those places you just named.â It would be nice to see what else New York had to offer. And seeing all those places with Isaac sounded even better. âHiking? Can we go check out the trail while weâre here? And canoeing sounds fun. Iâll try anything.â She loved trying new things, especially when it came to outdoor activities. âI would like that. As long as you donât ever try to make me drive it. The idea of driving a motorcycle terrifies me for some reason. I donât even drive a car here in the states yet.â She had a driver, so there was no need for her to.
âOh, is it? Because I swear your hair still looks the same as I remember it,â Cecelia replied, not really sure what to say. She never knew what to say when she saw Dante anymore. It was always awkward small talk. âAre you enjoying the event? Thereâs so many new interesting exhibits to see,â she said, taking another sip from her glass of champagne. She only planned on staying a little while longer. She had kids to get home, and while Emma was probably already asleep, she planned on reading Theo a bedtime story. âSo, how many people have already tried rubbing elbows with you this evening?âÂ
