Currently I’m getting into Vetulicolia. Like can we talk about these thangs??

They were either a sister group to chordates or their own fuckass phylum. No eyes no limbs no apparent sensory organs. They just swam around on pure vibes. I’m not necessarily surprised they died out in the Cambrian but I wish they had stuck around. Imagine what they might be up to today.

#deer horses hummingbirds rats rabbits pigeons and the noble black and rufous elephant shrew #all of which but the last can be found local to me!!!!!! which is a large part of why I love them #I like to go outside my house and see a beautiful beast. same reasoning behind my love of bluebells and dandelions #also cats and dogs but I fear those hardly count. everyone love dogy and kity
