Many people in this fandom honestly try to critique and theorize when it’s not needed. While I love a good theory, 19 days is a pretty cut and dry story. As a “vintage” 19 days reader, I feel like too many people believe OX knows exactly what they’re doing, when in reality I feel like OX didn’t have a timeline of the story until recently. For years I’ve watched and waited for updates, and it felt like nothing was happening until later this year. As someone who has made a comic in the past, and kinda just freehanded everything (had a basic premise but never wrote each chapter down) it’s easy to tell that OX does the same. OX is an absolutely amazing creator and has the ability to make likeable, captivating characters, they have fantastic attention to detail, that can easily fool someone into thinking they know where the story is going. I’ve been here for a very long time, and to me it’s pretty obvious that OX was making chapters and sprinkling a little lore every now and then, but you can’t give the story props for being so noteworthy for the storytelling. OX has only started showing some real progress in the past few months. If you see the 19 days timeline you can see that these boys only met around a month or two ago. Let that sink in. We’ve been reading new chapters for YEARS, with steady updates, and we aren’t even in the middle of the school year for the boys. Of course the TL can be subjective, but looking at the developed time lines people have made, we haven’t gotten far in the story at all. Once again this is not hate towards anyone, including OX, but know that the reason we are rushing through the story now, is because OX has finally made their own timeline. I honestly think we will only have another year or two with the boys until the comic is over(unless we go through another slow period again). More power to OX though because i feel a main reason why they never progressed the story was because Chinese censorship, but now I think we will be running through the story at a much quicker pace now. Sorry for the rant! Just need to get my thoughts out. This wasn’t meant to be rude in any way!!!
