Masking the front wheel...The masked surfaces have already been polished and the rest get painted black. This is going to give spoke imitates.

Just arrived, 7" head light (chrome/black) and bullet turn signals in chrome.

Some progress. Efter painting the frame the steering bearings got pressed in.

First coating of primer.

The frame is now stripped and ready to get its first layer of primer.

Removing the paint of the frame using stripper, housholds plastic and stainless steel spiral scourer.

Now it's time to cut off some stubs of the frame. Remember, safety first! :)

Disassambled and cleaned front disk brakes. It took some hours to get removed all salt and corrosion inside of the brake pistones. A new sealing kit got installed and the pistones are running now smoothly.

Today I got some time and used it to remove the old paint from the forks. I used pickling agents and rough steel wool to do the job. It worked pretty well.

After the electronic base plate was adjusted to the frame, the fram could be removed from the engine. The engine was jacked on some wooden bricks and the frame could be easily removed.

Today, I managed to continue working on the electronic base plate to hold the starter relay and the voltage regulator. The indicator relay and the ignition control get strapped to the existing ignition coil base plate.

Today I removed the steer bearing and started treading all sandplasted surfaces with steelwool.

Today, I got sandblast some parts from the steering. All the aluminium parts are getting pollished and the lower steel bridge get painted, probably in black

My plan is to move all the electronics (voltage regulator, starter relay, flasher, CDI and fuse box) below the tank. There should be enough space. A special metal plate will be used to install all the parts. The small metall holder of the CDI gets removed from the air box and reused on the new metal plate.
