I'm about to contradict myself, but I honestly sometimes hate wasting time trying to figure out novels and plots and stuff.

Like. I have a life to worry about. I have to take care of myself and battle my disabilities. Soon I'll have to worry about mortgages and groceries and careers. I don't have time to sit around daydreaming while time slips away. Brain, if you want to write something, then GIVE me something to work with.

It also sucks trying to write something but it never works out. Fun becomes a chore and I guess I'm not cut out for it if I can't even power through an original work.

"Write it anyways because it needs to exist to be good." Yeah, it could also be incoherent and inherently flawed because you have too much of an ego to criticize and find nuance in your own work. I'd rather find something that works instead of wasting my time writing bullshit to satisfy a quota.
