The party here is almost over! We are three weeks away from Tales from the Zones’ 1 year anniversary and just a month until we call it a wrap and stop posting on this account.

Now I'm so heartbroken to learn about Gaga's story of being abused and tortured by a producer who also threatened to burn her tapes... I think the dangers of being an artist should be more talked.

In academia they try to desmiss the "gifted artist" thing, but it's more of a inclusive discourse like "practice is the key", you know?But that's all, even there the environment is really toxic. Many teachers don't care about you and all the other things you have to do in life - and that's a career where you gotta do everything! Come up with a project, study theories, draw, paint, make prints, whatever your media is. Maybe listening to a song or looking at a painting takes 3-5minutes but creating one? Wow...

Getting to the point of "black swan" is kinda easy, you're always being questioned and doubted about you and your true colors and capacity as an artist til you can become really dangerous to yourself to justify that you're real about it.

When you're a woman in any kind of art industry it's even worse, there' always this doubt "would they be treating/talking to me this way if i weren't a girl?".

Anyway.... Just another late hours rant, this time for something serious... Take care of yourselves! Art is important and valuable, but please, put your health and well-being first! ❤️
