What this portal entails is unpredictable. However, there are things to expect.
The Astral Plane is a mystery to all. It is said to be a place of rest to those who have passed on but failed to reach the clouds or succeeded to not suffer in the flame.
Citizens have claimed to have spotted the Legendary Chalice around or near where an entrance to The Astral Plane has been. She seems to be able to enter and exit at will.

A ghost from the F.I. era. She was normally spotted in the Mausoleums across Inkwell. But, due to the Pottery Twins' recklessness when saving her, has only been seen a selected amount of times.
During her time alive, she helped with the finding of the Inkwell Isles and prove herself to be a great warrior. In the stories written on the walls of many ruins, she not only charmed a demi‐god, but had done great permanent damage to The Devil himself.
•Pieces of her handle float inbetween attached pieces. She had these pieces broken off after her defeat so they came with her into the afterlife.
•Her eyes may seem like they have no pupils at times, but they can be faintly seen. They are a light blue colour.
•Jewels imbedded in the rim and bottom of her head. Represented power in the Calix Animi.
•Gloves only given to high-ranking members of the Calix Animi due to lack of fabric to make gloves.
•The "X" on her chest has replaced the pink heart, meaning she cannot be resurrected any more.
•Tatoos on hand shows faith to the deity they worship. The fork and the spoon represents the demi‐god Mukinathi.
•Has a longer tail than all ghosts due to her time of existence.

The creature you suggest can be an already made one, a made up one, a combination of two creatures, or a normal creature from real life with a twist!
