Let me explain the food stamps issue.
Today, all people on SNAP got their FEBRUARY benefit early. If you get January benefits you should still get them on your regular benefit day, provided it’s before (I believe) the 27th. (I may be wrong on that)
But yes, January and February benefits have been given out.
There will be no March benefit. Unless the shutdown ends and the 2019 budget is passed and the budget contains funding for SNAP.
The SNAP program has run out of money. There is no money for food stamps because the budget was not passed. In his tantrum over the Wall, Trump is starving us.
If you know somebody on Food Stamps, and you have some extra money, consider passing it their way. But also be prepared to help in March, and April and so on, if the shutdown doesn’t end, or if the budget does not contain SNAP funding.
Don’t let us starve to death.

1. Go for the eyes. I know it’s basic, but some people are squeamish about it - DON’T BE. Take out an eye, and the majority of people will back right off, or be debilitated.
2. Do NOT let them get you by the hair. Do absolutely anything to prevent this.
3. Go for the throat. If you can hit them anywhere, make it to the throat.
4. The elbow is short range, but that shit hurts when you’re hit with it (I’ve been elbowed in the face, it doesn’t feel good.)
5. Don’t try headbutting. I’m trained, and I would STILL not attempt it. It’s difficult to do correctly, and you can end up hurting yourself more than them if you do it wrong.

In a 1970s study of Swedish and Thai women, it was found that when the Thai women were eating their own (preferred) cuisine, they absorbed about 50% more iron from the meal than they did from eating the unfamiliar Swedish food. And the same was true in the reverse for the Swedish women. When both groups were split internally and one group given a paste made from the exact same meal and the other was given the meal itself, those eating the paste absorbed 70% less iron than those eating the food in its normal state.
