what song reminds u of carcar the most??
HI ANON this is an evil question because I have to pick just one.
of course I am a raging noah kahan fanboy, so im going with "Willing and Able", even though there are SO MANY songs I link to oscar and carlos. I have an entire playlist.
How I'm going to do this is by picking out a few lyrics that really speak to me, and telling you all why.
I adore the idea of them to this song,

the childhood lie in question being their 2023/24 rivalry, both having said courage to leave; carlos defending oscars brazil 25 penalty, them flying to bahrain together ect..
(this also ties in with the "we can fight like we used to fight" lyric)

them never truly being able to know eachother, always interacting with each other's teammates instead, the awkwardness that comes with a past rivalry.

really speaks to me from oscars pov. seeing lando and carlos being able to so easily exist in each other's space where he thinks to be around carlos he has to do something interesting constantly to keep his attention. :( my boy..
say i'm sorry for everything else
I see this from carlos' pov, calling oscar inexperienced, constantly making digs towards him in his social media posts. realising after sharing podiums with him and having true conversation that he shouldn't have let his racing affect him personally, wishing so desperately he could apologise to oscar for everything without making what they're rebuilding awkward.
if we found a way to the other side, id be willing and able
the other side being friendship, or romance if we're doing rpfing, both of them wishing they could be something, but being unable to initiate. yearning everytime they glance at each other from across the paddock at what they could've been.
