There’s nothing wrong with girls - or boys - wanting to be pretty. But there is a problem with young girls being constantly told that pretty for them means looking over 21 at 13.

Also, I despise the fact that when this conversation is brought up, some stupid people like to turn it into a makeup shaming issue or whatever. You would be the biggest liar to not admit to the toxic pressure a lot of girls, even young female adults, are dealing with when it comes to social media. The forced and tired “Instagram baddie”look, always feeling like they have to have the perfect heavy face beat 24/7. Some of these girls go as far as squandering their money on makeup and clothes just to keep up with things they can’t afford. It is very toxic and contributing heavily to low self esteem in a lot of these young girls.

I can say that because I’m not on the show anymore.
