I'm obsessed with Disney's Frozen!! :D I honestly love all things snow and cold, my third favorite movie is Tinkerbell and the Secret of the Wings and my fourth is the Snow Queen 2012.

I've had so many bad therapists that I really appreciate now having one who understands me and doesn't just call me an adult baby. I was saying how anxious I was about trying to overcome my agoraphobia through exposure therapy and she was like, "This is just like when Elsa had to learn to overcome her fear of her powers so she could leave her room" and I was like YOURE SO RIGHT

Expensive but this little guy is my current favorite Olaf stuffed animal. He looks very cute and true to form, and his nose actually looks like a carrot unlike a lot of other Olafs where his nose looks like a broken finger. Before anyone says the Disney store Olaf plush (this fellow down here) I know I've seen him. He's decently cute and I like his eyes but his mouth is weird and bulbous, like it's out of proportion, and that personally bothers me :( however I'm trying to save money to get one or both of these so...reviews coming soon?

I turned 21 recently. I'm not someone who gets misty eyed about getting older or anything but I do get reminded often of how much people around me think I am too old for my obsession with Frozen. Being autistic tends to come with a lot of childish traits in general (for some people of course). I never talk about Frozen in my real life (except with my mother <3) because I don't want to annoy people with my obsession but everyone can tell I adore the movie based on how I dress, the items I keep with me, my phone case and computer background, etc. Asking me "how break went" will usually result in me describing how many times I could watch Frozen in the allotted time between semesters. The thing is I've noticed a shift now that I'm a senior in college. When I was a freshman and sophomore, my Frozen obsession was pretty much ridiculed by my friends and peers, even if they knew about my autism. Now as a senior, when people learn about my Frozen obsession usually they reply with something childish they're obsessed with. In times of stress, people tend to fall back on things that remind them of better moments in their lives.

Basically what I'm saying is, if people are making fun of you for being autistic and having a childish special interest right now...just wait until everyone is so stressed that they're nostalgic for Polly Pockets and Sylvanian Families.

Bad news: I'm going back to college tomorrow and will likely not have very much time to post. Most of these posts are only half-finished so it might be a while before I fully finish them. Hopefully I'll also be posting some random musings as well. Thank you for sticking by me despite my weird posting schedule.

Finally, I am also considering creating a side blog for reviewing Barbie movies. I'm not sure if I'll have the time or energy to do that but it's very possible, if that interests you then keep an eye out!
