Hrgh I haven't worked out all the kinks (hah) yet in my laying-eggs-in-Grace's-bladder thought but I can't stop thinking about it. Tbf I thought about it very deeply whilst I was jacking off and briefly considered trying out sounding myself to be able to write the non-existent fic more realistically (post nut clarity reminded me to not shove things up my dick all willy-nilly). So, all this talk about my dick to say that the whole willy-nilly-ness of it all is exactly the problem. Rocky wouldn't want to hurt Grace, wouldn't even want to do anything that has the potential of hurting Grace. So the whole ovipositor-in-the-urethra scenario comes with a lot of prep, xenonite sounds of different sizes just to get Grace up to the point where he could even attempt to take a part of Rocky inside him. And even then, could Rocky design a xenonite sheath smooth enough not to just fucking rip Grace to shreds?? (For the purpose of this thought, yes he can. It's got like. Cross-linked strands of xenonite that make a soft but atmosphere-resistant material or something) And idk what y'alls favourite ways of imagining Rocky's ovipositor are but we can divert from my fish-inspired cone and lean more into the tentacle. Maybe Rocky designs like a speculum or something to hold Grace's urethra open and allow Rocky to slide his ovipositor in more easily. The first time he attempts Grace cums as soon as the ovipositor gets even a little bit close and the sight of his fluid oozing from the stretched hole makes Rocky need to take a break for a week because he's scared to crush Grace from his tsunami of lust. And then we haven't even gotten to the egg-laying yet! Obviously the eggs can't go straight from Rocky into Grace, no matter how much I want them to. If we imagine they've prepared for this scenario, maybe there's a uh capture bag at the end of Rocky's sheath. Maybe it feeds into Grace like a catheter balloon. And then it can be filled up with eggs when Rocky's ovipositor pulses and deposits them in Grace's cold bladder. Maybe the feeling of the eggs passing through the ovipositor and Grace's urethra, stretching it all out to the brink (maybe a little over) of too much has Grace passing out. And then he comes to with a full bladder. I bet Rocky feels up the rugae of Grace's bladder, poking and prodding and hearing the muscle give way. Depending on the size of the eggs he could fix his whole clutch in there maybe, stretching the bladder out, pressing some other organs out of the way, but it'll be fine because it's only temporary. Distended lower stomach and Grace feels overwhelmed inside and out by Rocky. Never had anything like this inside of his bladder before. And Rocky dirty-talks to him abt making Grace incubate his and Adrian's eggs of course, making Grace dizzy from the arousal of the thought of being kept as nothing more than a useful, satiated toy. And then the eggs have to come out. They'll figure out a way to have them all neatly lined up. As Rocky retracts his ovipositor they follow one-by-one (not much choice, with everything still being safe in Rocky's sheath), stretching Grace back out. And Grace is spent, mindfucked, delirious from pleasure and pain and lingering pressure. The speculum gets removed and then in the soft afterglow Rocky scolds Grace for being so so so leaky and open that he can't even keep his gross disgusting waste fluid (piss) inside anymore. Maybe Rocky just needs to make a new device and control that for him, too.

I think there's something very funny about how I absolutely love it when Grace gets whumped and forced and is crying and hurt and distressed, but I absolutely cannot handle when Rocky gets even a smidgen of similar treatment. I don't know what it is but it just genuinely makes me too upset to keep reading SHDGSHDG Rocky deserves everything he's ever wanted and to never be in pain again (with the exception of Rock Divorce I do really love it when his relationship with Adrian goes to shit from his own doing).

Grace who can't handle how much he likes how controlling Rocky is. Rocky is just worried, overbearing, barring Grace from certain activities and refusing to let the team synthesise specific human food. Grace has never had someone care about his health to this extent before, has never had someone tell him 'no' for his own sake. And he doesn't know how to deal with it. When you've had to fend for yourself most of your life, it rubs you the wrong way when suddenly you're not the one in charge anymore. Rocky refuses to synthesise alcohol for Grace, saying it's bad for him, unhealthy, could be dangerous, and Grace snaps at him. Yelling that he's a grown fu-friggin' man and if he would like to kill his body in small doses he should be allowed!! Which greatly upsets Rocky, and Grace realises that he doesn't actually hate how overbearing Rocky is, the problem he has is fear. He's scared to put his life in someone's hands who has his best interest in mind, he's scared to get used to being treated well, scared that if he allows himself to enjoy it he loses it all. It's a long and awkward conversation with a very upset Rocky once Grace figures this part of himself out, but in the end it's worth it because Rocky spoils Grace rotten for the rest of his life.

For my fic I'm trying to decide how arousal and sex works for Eridians. Weir didn't expand much on the reproduction part of the species, just that they lay a clutch of five, so I'm trying to come up with my own biology here. Is expelling the clutch something you can decide to do? Does it happen on a cycle? Does it require arousal? Does arousal always get followed by eggs? does arousal even involve the ventral seam in any way? What organs do I want to exist for the egg-laying? How does gravity affect the process? I'm definitely leaning towards that opening the ventral seam for egg-laying is a very very intimate act (exposing yourself to predators and pathogens!) but I'm undecided whether it's a fully conscious process or no, I think if I lean one way I can make the misunderstanding part of my fic even more intense which could def be very fun. I think I need to do some research on egg-laying Earth animals to decide an evolutionary path to take here. So much research for some simple indulgent perverted smut (that's the fun of it tho).

Okay I know they have a set of standard animations of Rocky to use for promotional material BUT STOP USING THE ONE OF HIM SAYING 'NO' WHEN HE'S NOT SAYING NO aaaaaarrrgghhhh it bothers me an irrational amount. We're hearing him say something positive but then we're seeing him say no just put the fucking jazz hands animation or anything else on the screen pleeaaaseeee

Feeling like shit so I'm imagining Grace sprawled out over Rocky's ball. The edges of the dodecahedron dig uncomfortably into his stomach and bones, but the xenonite is comfortably warm, and Rocky's tapping reverberates through his whole body. Rocky scrambled around a bit at first, mock offence at being used as furniture but careful not to move the ball at all lest it jostles Grace off. The side of Grace's face is pressed against the xenonite and he can just barely see Rocky through his squished eye, watching the way Rocky fiddles with his hands as he processes all of the sounds he can hear from Grace through this close contact. It's like Grace's heartbeat has become one with the ball, conducting through all of the xenonite, enveloping Rocky whole. It's the closest Rocky can get to crawling into Grace's skin, and he'll savour every moment of it.
