Most relatable part of Hannibal is when he starts smelling shit, like my sense of smell isnāt as keen but my favourite things is when your hands smell like a loved ones house after you visit them because of their soap or something and I think Hannibal would like that too, like he washes his hands with Willās soap when he would feed the dogs in season 1 (because dog treats/food fucking reeks so I know he would have to anyway) and then for the rest of the day that smell would linger and then he can smell Will on him

See I get the appeal of computers but your own body??? The thing that is unanimous and just as old as us???? Everyone has a body, everyone has flesh, we nourish ourselves with human presence and cannibalism takes it to the literal sense!!! Because even though he was angry and heartbroken, it still hurt him to see Will suffer, so he was giving him permission to escape.

Watching season 1 of Hannibal is tough on me because we see Will being a tortured soul and Iām like :( until he bends his arm and you can see his massive fucking biceps and strong ass forearms and then my jaw drops to the floor and i am immediately distracted

Like he can hear, see, smell and touch Will, so of course he would want to taste him as well. Taste is a human sense constructed for delight and he would want to delight in being able to experience his loved ones on that level, like itās the sensory experience of eating another and perceiving them with that taboo sense.
Iād also like to entertain the scene where Hannibal pricked his finger on the fishing gear and tasted the blood. Like is that not a taste for the sensory experience? Of course it could be a reference to kissing but he wanted to perceive what an object of Willās would taste like when mended with himself, metal on metal.
I really need to rewatch Hannibal while entertaining this lens more I think it would be really interesting.
