i just wanted to draw a little thing for my favorite Pirate Alliance. also it’s been a while since i used this style haha

haha, there are two Corabelle AUs i came up with, and in one of them Sanji is Cora’s biological son. i headcanon this because of all the reasons stated here, and i had that headcanon before i came up with Corabelle

basically, in that au, Cora had Sanji when he was like 17 with a nameless woman, and they gave him up for adoption because they weren’t old or mature enough to take care of a child. 8 years later, Cora adops Law (Cora at this point is about 26 and ready to raise a child, Law is 13) and he meets Bellemere & her family soon after and they marry two years later.

Sanji would be 10, and has just been adopted by Zeff. Nami and Sanji meet in elementary school (she’s 9) and become friends (along with Usopp, Zoro and Luffy). they all get invited over to Nami’s house for a party and everyone notices the similarities between Cora and Sanji. they do some investigating and figure out that Sanji is Cora’s biological child.

so, Nami, Nojiko and Law are all Corazon and Bellemere’s adopted children, and Sanji is Zeff’s adopted son, but Sanji is Cora’s biological son. Cora never looked for Sanji before because he thought Sanji would already be adopted and he’d never see him again.

treasure planet AU with Croc as Long John Silver and Luffy as Jim Hawkins aka i’ve lost control of my life because of one piece aus

Silver is very morally ambiguous and morally gray character, and Shanks just doesn’t fit that profile.

Croc, however, does. Croc attempted to take over Alabasta and planned to destroy the capital without a single care to the millions of people he’d kill (some of his own, too). Silver played himself off as the simple minded cook to avoid suspicion, while Croc attacked pirates to gain popularity in Alabasta so people wouldn’t be suspicious of him, while both were planning to take over (the Legacy for Silver, Alabasta for Croc). neither cared for Jim or Luffy the first time they met, either. Croc nearly killed Luffy several times.

However, something changed during the time Croc was at Impel Down, because during Marineford, Croc SAVED Luffy three times (he sent Daz to save Luffy from Mihawk, then stepped in when Daz couldn’t fight Mihawk, and then attacked Akainu himself to get Luffy to safety). he was still playing it off as ‘I just don’t want the marines to win’, but it’s obvious he’s got several underlying motivations aside from that, especially since he’s working with the WB Pirates, who he was actively trying to attack before. either way, he’s putting aside his differences with a crew he’s actively hated up to this point to save a kid who destroyed all his plans in Alabasta. there are definite hints that Croc respects, and maybe even cares about, Luffy on some level.

Plus, we know Croc was after the One Piece prior to the start of the series. it was something important to him. Luffy and Croc both have the same dream (to be the Pirate King), as do Jim and Silver (to find Treasure Planet).

not to mention the number of weapons both Croc and Silver have in their prosthetics
