Otis: Man, I didn't think you actually had it in you to run this fast while carrying me. Usually, you're just bouncing on beat in one spot!

Boyfriend: I’ve got that some energy now, Otis! Once the fans see the custom sprite sheet drop, they're gonna go crazy.

Boyfriend: We're running all the way to the next stage setting!

Otis: Just don't trip over a bush. If I gets corrupted because you dropped me in the dirt, you're getting nerfed in the next update!

Boyfriend: Fair enough buddies.

Hey everyone, updates from the dev desk! We have a new guest character coming down the pipeline, but he's causing trouble already.

A new character is coming to the Pico’s School fighting game project, and he’s trading his microphone arrows for direct combat!

Here is a sneak peek at the Work-In-Progress (W.I.P) sprite sheets for Boyfriend (FNF) as a guest fighter in the Pico’s School MUGEN Project. 

While I am still heavily focused on completing the classic cast and finishing up the last two character from last years, BF was too highly requested to pass up.

In this preview, you can see his redesigned idle stance and basic movement frames. I wanted to move away from his usual hunch and rhythm-bop to give him a grounded, aggressive combat posture inspired by the legendary Mindchamber style. 

He fits right into the gritty, classic Newgrounds era.

I’ve completely redrawn his frames to give him a true Newgrounds fighting game scale, making him look older, sharper, and ready to clash with the likes of Pico, Darnell, and Cassandra.

Expect microphone whip strikes, speaker-box drops, sonic rhythm waves, and a special 'Max Mode' inspired by hitting a perfect streak.

This project has been a solo labor of love for years, and creating these custom sheets takes time.

As for his lore in this engine: Boyfriend handed Otis a note begging to join the roster. 

Otis was asleep at the time, but BF woke him up demanding a spot! Pico is away on other business, 

so Otis and I are running the show. BF thinks this fighting style looks cool, but he’s going to have to be patient while I code his full combat moveset.

Otis Day 2026 Gibbons Big Score Chocolate Submachine! Otis's Carry Big Load Chocolate!

Happy Otis Day 2026! 🍫 Gibbons is finally putting that 'Chocolate Submachine Gun' to good use. It looks like the duo just pulled off the 'Big Score' at the local candy shop. Poor Otis didn't expect the weight of 'Otis's Big Load Chocolate' would be his toughest challenge yet!

Gibbons isn't playing around! Armed with the legendary Chocolate Submachine, he’s cornered the ultimate prize: the fabled Big Load Chocolate Bar. Is it a robbery, or just a very aggressive snack run? Lock, load, and sugar up!

It’s amazing to see how far these characters have come since their 2003 debut in Pico’s Cousin. Decided to give Gibbons his iconic candy-themed weaponry for this year's piece. Long live the Newgrounds classics!

Uberkids is back we had to stop them for invading the city. Pico and Otis are point a gun on them.

We had 10 Pico Character now. (8 School series and 2 Cousin series).

Next character is currently 33% competed.

I knew it won't gonna make it in time.

every new character are not gonna be easy to make for Mugen character.

Gibbons from Pico Cousin got his first playable debut outside of Newgrounds Games.

The original plan for Mugen Pico School fighting game was about 30 characters (for 10 Years) but I decided add up to some were between 40-48.

Not just every cast from the Pico School but adding guest characters from Newgrounds other series.

It take time to add another series and not add multiple protagonist, that will be very high risk to do.

Uberkids and Gibbons turns to shine for Mugen Pico School Fighting Game.

Reach to 4th years by now.

Next years might be the big one.

Promise to be successor to Newgrounds Fighting Game.

7:00 AM. Sunlight streaks through the bedroom window, but Otis is still dreaming of code, hitboxes, and sprites. In his head, the roster for the Mugen Pico Fighting Game is finally coming together—the Uberkids and Gibbons are nearly battle-ready.

Boyfriend, however, has zero patience for the dev cycle. He’s itching to see himself in the game, fully playable and ready to drop bars in a brawl. Growing bored and a little worried that Otis might sleep through the deadline, Boyfriend decides on a very "direct" wake-up call.

He marches into the room, grabs a snoring Otis, and hoists him high into the air like a trophy!

Narrator: It's 7:00 AM. While characters like Uberkids and Gibbons are gearing up for the Mugen Pico Fighting Game, Otis is still lost in dreams of the roster. Boyfriend, restless and a little worried, decides he's waited long enough. He bursts into the bedroom and hoists a startled Otis right out of his sleep!

Boyfriend: "Wake up, Otis! Rise and shine, Otis! I'm not spending another day as a background character. It's time to put me in the game!"

Otis: (Flailing, eyes wide with shock) "Whoa—! Boyfriend?! Put me down! It’s only seven in the morning!"

With a playful but Boyfriend tosses Otis from the comfort of his blankets. Otis hits the floor with a soft thud, rubbing his eyes as his dream of perfect game

Otis: (Thumping onto the floor) "Oof! Okay, okay! I get it! Just... please, wait a second. You know making a new character isn't easy. Coding the moves, the sprites, the hitboxes... it takes time!"

Boyfriend: "I’ve waited long enough. Let’s get to work!"

Otis believes he possesses his "warrior genes". He explains that he needs Gibbons' help and protection, as he's convinced an alien threat is looming and only their combined strength can stop it. Otis visits Gibbons' home to propose a risky "New Plan Idea". Takes place in Gibbons' room, characterized by wooden floorboards and a large, green couch. A blueprint is visible on the wall in the background.

The "Warrior Genes" Plot: Otis is discussing his DNA (represented by the blue double helix icon) and claiming to have "warrior genes". He is attempting to convince the more skeptical Gibbons to help him and provide protection against an alien threat.

Dialogs Otis: "New Plan Idea!" Gibbons: "Hmm? Risky!" Otis: "It's not risky at all, Gibbons! I've been reading up on my family history, and it turns out I have warrior genes. This plan taps into that dormant power!" Gibbons: "Warrior genes? Are you serious? That sounds like something out of a comic book, not a real plan." Otis: "I am serious! It explains why I'm so good at... well, everything! This plan uses our natural instincts to our advantage. We can't fail." Gibbons: "I don't know, Otis. My 'natural instincts' are telling me to stay home and avoid trouble. Your plans usually end up with us in a mess." Otis: "But this time it's different! This is our destiny talking. Are you in or out?" Gibbons: "Fine, I'm in. But if we end up fighting or something, I'm blaming your 'warrior genes'."

Otis and Gibbons are on a scavenger hunt set by an eccentric relative. The scroll contains the next clue, but it's a riddle they can't agree on. Gibbons is playfully "forcing" Otis to agree with his interpretation using the toy blaster. The "strange discovery" is not the scroll itself, but what it leads to.

Dialogue Otis (holding the scroll): Gibbons, look! This scroll… it's a map to the ancient ruins! But it says the guardian is still here! Gibbons (looking determined): Don't worry, Otis. I've got my trusty 'Blaster-Matic 9000'! We can take on any guardian! Otis: I don't think a toy gun is going to help us against a mythical guardian, Gibbons! Gibbons: It's not a toy! It's got gumballs of pistol!

Otis's Jungle Jeopardy Quicksand

Totally Otis might get some impacts or not stunts.

He struggling in a quicksand pit in a jungle.

Otis thrashes desperately in the murky quicksand, his arms flailing above the surface as the jungle environment looms around him.

Trapped in a hidden jungle hazard, Otis is slowly being swallowed by the soft, sucking mud of a quicksand pit, his expression one of pure panic."

Focus on the emotion: "A look of sheer terror is etched across Otis's face as he sinks deeper into the inescapable, rippling quicksand.

Otis fights against the strong pull of a quicksand trap, hands reaching for anything solid to pull himself free.'

Quick! save him before he get slowly being swallowed by the soft, sucking mud of a quicksand pit.

An Unexpected Truce at the Mall.

What if following the intensity of the "Pico's Cousin" event, Otis and Gibbons find themselves unexpectedly crossing paths at the local mall. Instead of another confrontation, a moment of mutual understanding leads to a surprising truce and the start of an unlikely friendship. After everything that went down in Pico's Cousin 1, Otis made the move to accept Gibbons, leaving the old animosity behind and opening the door for them to become friends".

Otis approach with Gibbons Gibbons: (Slightly gruff, but less hostile than usual) "You got lucky." Otis: (Chuckles) Yeah, it was wild. Just glad it's over. Gibbons: Yeah. Things got messed up fast. (Sighs) Look, about how things were... didn't mean to be a jerk. Just... things were complicated. Otis: (Nods understandingly) It's cool. We were all just trying to survive. Maybe... maybe we could start over? Be friends? Gibbons: (Looks at Otis, a small, genuine smile forming) Yeah. I'd like that. Friends. Otis: Awesome. (Holds out his hand) I'm Otis, officially. Gibbons: (Shakes his hand firmly) Gibbons. Good to meet you, Otis.

I made idea for both each interact each other. I haven't seen anyone do this at least once.

My current design for Gibbons look like in mindchamber/cootiegirl style.

Darnell is having a rough day getting some candy, but Gibbons is there to cheer him up and offers a chocolate bar if he want it.

This is totally not Halloween day and didn't takes part of Halloween event but It the right time for him if Darnell didn't get one.

Fight each Pico School Character opponent one by one. Determined faced a challenge and get after devastating blow lose many times. Otis himself in a dire situation. The battle was fierce every his opponent delivered a devastating blow that left him lying down the floor. Every single Pico's friends and Goth Punks launch each move on him.

Boyfriend (Friday Night Funkin) give Otis (Pico Cousin) a note and sent to me (Crowsar). He want to join Mugen Pico School Fighting Game project as playable character. But I'm still working on other character at the moments. He need be patient.

Boyfriend think that project of Pico School fighting game look cool and he got a Mindchamber style a like. It in the mourning and Otis is a sleep. Bf focus Otis a wake and wanted in as Crowsar's Boyfriend in Mugen. Me and Otis is charge of the project.

Pico had other thing to do so he not here.

Damien came for revenge and interrupt Otis by sneaking attack from behind and knock out. Lead of the end of Crowsar's Otis fans and getting replaced by Damien? It has step down with Otis fans But got split up with Gibbons and Damien

A busy days rework with Newgrounds Sprite over times, all after many years Pico School Character soon will get a dream fighting for over 10 years onward. My personally will change after end of being Otis fans and get taking over by other character for new plan. I will working on the character still but it has some change after I was being puppet state.

Uberkids has confirmed to be 2026 but It had problem between Gibbons and Damien fighting to get to Mugen Pico School Fighting on 2026. Planning for the poll who gonna be in Mugen on 2026. The most votes Crowsar will end up became Gibbons fans or Damien fans For example The Real Crowsar (Otis fans) will end up Acquaintance Crowsar (Control by Gibbons fans) or Penilianst Crowsar (Control by Damien fans)

It been 4 years being an Otis fan I kinda want to do more fanart for Otis but thing change. Damien is not very happy after lose to Otis back from end Pico Cousin 2, as for this time Damien come back for has humanoid beat up Otis and take him to Ufo bring to Damien House for very secret plan to do with Otis. Far well GG Crowsar (Otis Fans)

Happy Pico Day 2025. Cyclops, Alucard and Hanzou are release on Mugen. Getting together either side between heroes or villains. It maybe not a final update for them we can keep going if I can stick around for next decades. Glad to draw the gang this years.
