I think that folklore is the most whimsical and ethereal album I’ve ever listened to and listening to it makes me feel like I’ve taken a step back in time or a step into another time - the exact same way a novel does. It’s so nice to feel like you’re somewhere else when you’re reading a novel and I find it so rare to hear music that does the same thing

Taylor really wrote an entire album in 3 months and didn’t tell her label till she was about to release it and all I can think about is how Scott forced her to change the name of the Speak Now album from Enchanted to Speak Now and forced her into changing Red from it’s orginal direction so that it would have more singles to sell instead of the album being cohesive. Taylor Swift has ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS but she could never show it becuase of Scott and Big Machine. I won’t stop saying how happy I am that she is free to be her complete self!

i can’t stop thinking about mirrorball and how it relates to what taylor said in miss americana about the pressure to reinvent and to be new and to be young and to be fresh and to be challenging, but without becoming a spectacle - and then about how she saves the real tricks and the real show for the person she loves, who was there when they closed up the circus and when no one’s watching, and she’s still shining

can anyone else just like... not grasp the fact that we have a whole ass new album from taylor like .... wtf

Taylor being lost in the deep dark ocean with just her piano hit me hard. It’s just her and her music facing the world, taking critism from literally everyone and the little waves/ripples in the water are the negative things people have thrown at her and she struggles to hang on but still manages to remind herself who she really is and find home again and oH MY GOD I WILL CRRYYY tYALOR

the difference between “and if i bleed you’ll be the last to know” and “if you never bleed you’re never gonna grow” is already growth in itself

Crazy how Joe hopped off a plane at LAX with a dream and his cardigan and when the taxi man turned on the radio a Taylor song was on
