Video evidence of me listening to my mom’s advice... So going into Chinese New Year I: didn’t get a haircut; washed my hair; wore black; didn’t clean the house from top to bottom. Since then, going into our move I have: found our new home was not quite as deep-cleaned as the previous tenant had promised; had weather delay our movers two hours; gotten TRAPPED IN AN ELEVATOR twice in the span of the same hour (ON moving day). So yeah. We gonn’ boil the pot of water again. And then I carried it around the apartment to spread the warmth. And Ash’ still has a blunt of sage at the old apartment. Am I superstitious?
