“Don’t mind, don’t mind~” he chuckles a bit, watching the roads pass by until they got back toward a more familiar place. Duke waited until David was parked before undoing the seat belt and bouncing right out without opening the door.

How embarrassing. He parks and shut the car off, and unbuckles himself, stepping out to shut and lock the car. In the building, he goes, and up the stairs, until he’s down that hallway and in front of the room.

To humor him or not…

“…Well, nothing can really happen to me as who I am, but okay.” He chuckles for a moment as he tries to get the belt… and successfully click it into the buckle.

“Oh wait- right you’re!” his face lit up in embarrassment

And that was Duke’s cue to come along. He didn’t necessarily have to stay there anymore. Not much was said as he started moving along, eventually just floating alongside David then.

“Don’t mind if I do~”

he paid no mind as he walked to the car and got inside, buckling himself into his seat and turning the radio on.

“No… It’s just one of the many places I seem to have lingering attachments to. But I mean, if you’re sure, I could come by more often.”

“I know.” He puts out the cigarette butt in the palm of his hand then, though there are no burn marks appearing. “…I was always here on the days you’d visit. It was and still is always fun to simply hang out with you. Of course, I couldn’t follow you away from this place but… I did look forward to each time you did.”

i’m a teenager who’s got bad history with adults showing individual interest in me and you seem like an adult.

It wasn’t every day that she saw weapons of violence, but.. it’s unnerving to even hear about humanity harming pokemon on purpose. “You’ll be fine so long as you don’t do anything that would provoke them. Have a safe trip!”

“Take care miss. i trust you’ll be fine on your own. and sure, only unless it’s dire and I really doubt it would be.” David wove a hand and began to walk away, passing through some trees.

Yellow had just barely made it to the first branch in the tree when she heard him. Kitty helped her settle in for a moment then. “You sure? I mean, do you have a pokemon on you? For safety reasons, of course…”
