For supper i want a party platter

idk unfortunately what to clarify except taste bad, smell bad, texture bad.

i make it a point to regularly re-try potatoes since tastes change over the years and im not out to be The No Potato Guy or something as a fixed asset of my personality, which my partner finds v funny.

NO SUCH LUCK YET.

sometimes theyre OKAY when theyre essentially a vehicle for other spices and whatnot but then its not the potato its whatever rode in with it. so why not just put all that on smth that DOESNT taste like a rancid armpit.

do not concern yourself overly with 'developing a style', you CANT FORCE IT... itll just happen and art will be a lot less fun if you run yourself in circles here and can KILL artistic drive... some people love to mimic styles as a drawing exercise though, granted

shade with mind to w/e color your lighting is, nothing is gonna be perfectly up and down the exact color ur already working with

if u are struggling to draw something, break it down to as simple as shapes as possible and work backwards from there. for example, hands are just some fuckin rectangles baybeeee!!

its more important for it to be made than it is for it to be perfect. just keep drawing. if you struggle to draw something, find a way to make it more fun for you and push through - like if horses are hard then draw bojack horseman or a centaur or put a human head and a cutie mark and penny loafers on that horse and draw it trying to play piano
