Looking around, Kimi had to say that ‘rough week’ may have been something of an understatement. “It’s all good,” she placated. “Just thought I’d drop by to say hello.” She stepped in the room and turned to get a full scope of the damage. “I’m no techie, but d’you need help with anything?”

Carly smiled, sitting back for a second as she caught her breath. Looking around and then back at Kimi she shrugged. “Would you mind grabbing me a sandwich from the cafe? I’m starving.” She said realizing her hunger was hitting her.

                 “can’t i just watch you work? i’m not even loud?” he looked up at the woman from his seat, smile big. he always thought carly was kind of hot but never actually did anything about it. sort of, watched from a distance while his sister had all her hot friends over. not really fair, but life isn’t fair.

“Don’t you have something better to do.” Carly said letting out a small sigh. “Couldn’t you go like bother adrianna instead.”

Kimi leaned against the doorway and tilted her head. “Aw, no love for a familiar face?” she asked, a small smirk reaching her expression. But as she looked over the mess surrounding Carly, it quickly turned into a frown. “Actually, you know what? I don’t blame you. I seem to have missed a lot.”

“Sorry Kimi, I honestly didn’t even realize it was you.” She said taking a quick breath. “It’sbeen a rough week. They ordered a ton of new computers because of the destruction the hulk did and I’m stuck rebuilding them.”

carly shook her head. “I could think of like a hundred ways you can better spend your time.”

If you would like, I can take a turn with your problem. Being with Tony came with it’s own perks. What type of problem is it? Other than the smashed computers, that is. I can’t fix those but it’s worth a try to make some attempt on fixing whats broken. 

She looked up at the other woman, slightly thankful for the help. “Yea, all I’m doing is build pc’s so if you wanted to work on that one over there and make sure the specs are all good that would be perfect.”

“Its a great place.” She shrugged. “I know a bunch of people from the academy come here alot, it’s pretty close.”

“Lucky me” She chuckled, starting to feel the warmness of the alcohol hit her. “I mean I guess. I do frequent this place often so its not that bizarre.”

KIM: Haven’t let myself shop since forever. KIM: Clearing my head

KIM: And I also have to get some shoes. KIM: It’s been a shopping day!

“Nope, one time deal, beside I wouldn’t want you to think I’m easy.”

“Well thats just a bummer.”

“Sounds boring. I was under the impression Pym was run by your grandfather.”

“It’s not that boring. Anyway he’s grooming me to take over.”

   HE SHRUGGED, DOWNING some of the drink barely second after it had been put in front of him. this was what his family was doing, right? he could join for once then.  ❛  it’s all good. d’you ended up here on your own?  ❜  

She watched questionably as he drank, but shrugged and drank her own drink. “Yea, figured I’d just run into people when I got here”

KIM: We’ll have to make some plans. KIM: Soon as I’ve made up my mind on the dress.

KIM: Awesome! KIM: I need to get some new dresses…and I’m in the mood to flirt.
