I have a head cannon from pantheon smp for pan! pearl that since they all died in their past life and became champions of the gods the reason pearl has wings is irony is since she died in Past life too many pit fall traps or just falling in general and her hatred for martyn is for two reasons one of witch being the bow he uses reminds her of jimmys which is another way she died and that he reminds her of the listeners (I also think her pan smp character is connected to her watcher version)
Also her treating this kinda like a game (yes I know it is technically but I mean is she is not scared to die at all ) reminds me of how the watchers treat the life series
