There’s No Hope For Parents Like Them.
The station was short on staff with Vera out and Dimitri MIA so Bekka and Ben responded to a call about a child in a hot car. On scene, Bekka realized it was Crimson’s car and she freaked out. “Oh my god, Ben!” She  ran over to the car and looking through the window she saw little baby Hope unresponsive, and she felt her chest tighten like she couldn’t breathe herself. Ben warned Bekka to stand back as he busted the glass Bekka went right in after the baby  pulling her from the car seat. “Hope!” Bekka bounced the baby in her arms. “She’s soaked! Where’s the medics?!!” Bekka brushed back Hope’s wet hair it was drenched to her head and Bekka was panicking she wanted Dimitri there just because for some reason she thought he needed to be there it was comfort thing and she was going to be fine but it was a want that made it’s feeling known within her. Bekka had that angry mad mother look the one where tears were in her eyes but it was full on anger as she saw Crimson walk out Bekka passed Hope to Ben and she went on to confront Crimson. “What the actual fuck man!? She could have died there isn’t a dry piece of clothing on her!” Bekka tightened her lips trying not to blow up because she was so close that her fists were ready to fly across Crimson’s face and the fact that 3 weeks later Bekka was still hurting over Dimitri just walking out with Jane and leaving her at the funeral home in rock Hill and never bothering to contact her since then or anyone at the station it was like he got her to say the words he wanted and then he abandoned her and everybody else in this small town and Bekka was so much more irate than normal. Also, she sort of felt like Dimitri’s blood running through her veins was a slap in the face and she was just so emotional right now that she could die.
“Awe shit.” Crimson says as he walks out seeing the scene. “You I’m trying as hard as I can’t it’s not easy. everyone wants to step on the Dad that messes up, but look this is our home right now. Nobody wants to hire the guy lugging a baby around to his job okay? I have to run carts back for old lady’s for five dollars and shit like that I can’t pay to run the AC all the time cause I don’t have money for gas. Look I’m sorry! I don’t want this for her I want better, but I don’t get any better. Okay so I guess you’re gonna have to take her.” He had no choice. This was what was best for the little girl. “I know you will anyway.”
