I decided to make some f/o questions since I haven’t really seen any before! ^^ For those of you who don’t know f/o stands for fictional other it’s like significant other.

s/i with brainfog & f/o imagines

f/o(s) casually reminding you of important events you have to attend, making sure you don't lose track of where you have to go during the week.

f/o(s) understand if you are too tired to talk or do stuff together. they offer to spend the day resting, maybe watch a mindless show or movie, maybe get deserved hours of sleep near each other.

for romantic or qpp f/os, they don't force you to go on super elaborate dates, and they understand if you can't bring yourself to remember to do the shopping or clean stuff; they'll either remind you of it and or do it themselves.

if you have trouble focusing on getting work done, your f/o(s) would suggest to do your respective duties together: maybe you use the living room and decide to leave your cellphones in another room in order to focus better! seeing them be productive may lead you to get more work done than if not.

for all f/os, they don't get angry or upset at your exhaustion. maybe they know how brain fog feels and how tiring it is to carry on with it, so they try to be as helpful and supportive as they can !

You go to sleep, and doze off..

The next thing you know, your f/o is right in front of you

You can’t believe it! You reach out to touch them and hold their hand

They hold your hand in return, interlocking your fingers

They give you a sweet smile, before whispering a soft, yet memorable..

“I love you.”

You wake up, and it’s already morning.. A dream that short felt like it could last forever.

Your f/o isn’t leaving you. The idea of being away from you pains them, and they understand it hurts you too. If they go to work or are away for a while, they always come back to you and hold you close as can be, telling you about how much they missed you during their day. All those other people they talked to? Doesn’t matter. Your f/o was still thinking about coming home to you, getting those conversations over with.

You are their number one, now and forever. Even if they’re busy or with other people, they will prioritize you. They don’t think you’re selfish or pathetic or anything negative just for fearing abandonment. And if you need them they will always come back to you to help.
