this is something i was just talking about with someone on twt but as someone who uses pinterest and recycles old studies for poses in my art i think it’s interesting how some ppl are like. rly defensive over poses as a unique concept. like they just aren’t. i have a heap of pins saved where i look at them and realise i have multiple photos of essentially the same shot. or i draw something then a week later see someone’s drawn a pic using the same reference and i always have this feeling of like. is someone about to get accused of copying the other when it’s rly just the same reference. but also like imo if ur not tracing and ur still drawing ur own concept i think it’s fine to use a pose another artist has done

my mum and grandma (and one of the doctors i work with) all follow me on instagram and so my mum keeps ringing me saying “you know your grandma is liking the horny knife art you’re drawing. do you know this. why are they so horny. do you think she notices the knives.” im just accepting this is my life now

so many ppl draw wolfwood with decent muscles but I just can’t I’m too tristamp brained and he should absolutely not be carrying the punisher with that build there lmao but it also makes sense considering he’s frequently dosing himself on a drug that increases his metabolism and he’s not even the “best result” of that drug. like imo it makes sense if he just can’t rly keep weight on and going by the way his clothes fit it’s not rly something he wants to deal with
