If...
I remember...
These are two short videos I made after our visit to BBH. I was given the push to create these in part due to the talk given by BBH’s in-house director, Korrie Powell and also after the Vlogstar Challenge/ short movie masterclass given by film maker Matty Groves.
These were based on two poems that I had written before entering the Creativity works course but thanks to the advice from Korrie in which he talked about how he used photos and poetry that he writes to make content, talking about a process in which he takes photos and works with them to see how he could possible turn them to moving pictures this is my attempt to do something similar.

BBH Week 7- Felicia Springer
After being set next year's Christmas ad brief from BBH our group decided to to create our ad around the lack of national unity in Britain right now during the Brexit ordeal and decided to call our campaign Enough For Everyone. Our ad featured opposing families competing to have the best Xmas and Tesco uniting them and having enough for everyone to share, told traditional xmas storytelling voice over style but done by influencer and comedian Mo Gilligan. At the end of the ad we wanted both of our families go to Tescos 100th Birthday Xmas Fireworks which involves a christmas market and fun games for all the family. We intended to actually host this in every city for our activation as a way to unite people in Britain over xmas and celebrate Tescos 100th Birthday. (visuals done by me)
last week we went to @itn to see the Jeremy Vine show. Great to see what like Live Tv is as well the production. Also having tour around itn. @MT_Futures

Amazon’s Logo, as shown above, is something that for me is instantly recognisable but was something I had not considered if it had a meaning behind it. I learned last week after visiting their HQ that it is meant to represent delivering smiles (or everything) from A-Z. As someone who enjoys learning little facts this was something nice that I picked up which kinda made my day among a multitude of varied other events during the day.
The visit also gave me great insight into the values of the company, their four guiding principles being;
1. Customer Obsession
Tailoring everything from item suggestions to advertising specifically to each individual. Being the first online platform allowing its customers to create reviews on products to inform other consumers and also manufacturers about a specific product, a concept which is common place today but at the time was thought to be a company destroying move, a bold, innovative but also risky step which ended well for the company.
2. Passion for invention
Amazon studios creating new award winning content, TV and Film (’Sneaky Pete’ and ‘Man in the High Castle’ being some of my favourites) and the many devices such as Amazon kindle and echo, devices which evolved from mistakes but were rehashed to create commercially popular products that are widely used today.
3. Commitment to operational excellence
Constantly upping their game and evaluating their performance to see how best to optimise their company to enable them to deliver optimal customer service to the consumer.
4. Long-term thinking
New technologies and innovations, always thinking three chess moves ahead
