Apologies for missing last month as some things were getting in the way of having that update out.

First things first: the Makeship campaign we mentioned happening last month was held back, but we believe that should be launching this July on the 24th. We've got a shirt and a Glow In The Dark Deadbeat plush lined up, so we'll let everyone know when that goes live.

This month's update is from the intro section, where we see a familiar illustration from the previous video created by Purpah, creator of Suitor Armor. Go support her over at Vgen and Bluesky.

I love how people catch the silly little details. So far everything I deliberately put in has been commented upon in some way except for one, that I know of. XD

“They were roommates”, “slice of life” is a slice of cake, hurt/comfort is a checkerboard cake and there’s a knife stabbed right into it, angst is someone’s “jam”, the pining section has pine tree shaped cookies, the vampire AU is a bloody mary, red cup is a “solo” cup, the “Add Shots” menu lists “protein” and “facial” as the top two items, and the concentrated citrus the bird-tender offers is a carton labeled “Only One Bed”.

After a insane moment of deep diving into Transformers Fandom, me and my GF were starting plotted ideas, headcanons and incorrect quotes on characters and series.

And that’s how “The Deal” was born.

“The Deal” is a collection of fan comic that takes places in Transformers Prime, adding some G1, Armada & IDW continuity (And something from Aligned Novels & War for Cybertron but with restraint since aligned continuity is a fragging caos)

-> Premises: Since nobody (canonically) has actually give us a good or finished redemption arc for Starscreamending ( UPDATE: Yes, I consider Skybound a great redeption arc but... 🥲) , we’ll gonna do it. A dirty work, but somebody has to do it, isn’t?

We’ve already quite planned the story, my GF helped me sorting ideas and instructed me how to use Tumblr to collect the shorts, the funny quotes and the main narrative (and the Starscream's cat narrative and the Sparkling narrative), with this wonderful thing called Master Post (That we'll call the Headmaster Post, to stay canon). My AU is divided into three interconnected series that together tell one larger story.

While each series can be read on its own, they all take place within the same continuity and build upon each other.

This AU began long before Episode 9 and was always written with the intention of following canon whenever possible. Several major story elements ended up aligning with later canon developments purely by coincidence, including certain elements which later became a central part of the apocalypse arc.

Summary:

The circus isn’t broken. It’s quiet. When the system slows and the noise fades, a truth surfaces: there is no exit. No outside world waiting. What remains are copies, scanned minds carrying memories of lives that already happened. This AU is inspired by I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, not as horror, but as an inversion of perspective. The suffering here isn’t cruelty or hatred, it’s continuity. Existing without a body, without a future, and without an end. As the characters begin to understand what they are, denial gives way to grief, and grief gives way to fragile connections. Escape stops being the question. What matters instead is how to keep going, together, when there is nowhere left to go. Because maybe the hardest part isn’t being trapped forever, it’s being all that remains...

🚪3. Remnants of Humanity

The apocalypse arc. After convincing Caine to finally show them the outside world, something goes horribly wrong. The system collapses and Caine becomes unstable. The cast finds themselves trapped in a constantly updating reconstruction of reality. A broken world filled with fragmented human memories known as Remnants. With no way back to the Circus, their only hope is to uncover what happened to humanity, restore Caine, and survive long enough to return home. If home still exists...
