as someone with a speech impediment, all of the people saying that only one type of stuttering is valid are wrong.

stuttering CAN look like this: "t-this is a-an example s-s-sentence"

OR this: "this-this is an example sen-sentence."

OR this: "t-t-t-th-..t-ttttthis is an example sentence."

OR this: "this is, uhm, an example, uh, sentence."

OR this: "this is an example sssssss-sentence."

OR this: "this is an examp-...this an example sentence."

sometimes the sentence won't even come out of your mouth at all.

there are probably many examples i'm forgetting, but that's the point! it usually is a mix of a few of these, but some people do one of them more often than others! some people with speech impediments have certain sounds that they almost consistently have trouble with (for me it's "st").

people with speech impediments also rarely-if ever-stutter whilst they're singing or whispering.

most importantly!!!! people with speech impediments are capable of saying a sentence without stuttering!! it can just be a gamble sometimes.

and if more people could portray the frustration that comes with stuttering and not being able to get words out, i'd be a very happy girl.

(fun fact: sometimes when my mouth won't let me say what i want to say, i get so annoyed that i just yell or grumble out "WORDS.")

In no way am I asking you to do anything here, and I normally wouldn't post anything about it on my blogs for specific topics like this, but I wanted to get it out there.

My older brother is disabled, and we're trying to save up to get him a wheelchair van for safer transportation. He has his wheelchair, but we have to try and fit it in the back of our current vehicle, which can be a struggle sometimes, and the unproper seating is becoming unsafe as well. But he needs the transport both to go to his appointments and to get out for his own enjoyment.

Like I said, I normally wouldn't post this kind of thing here, but it's for my brother, y'know?

And excuse me, "every writer already uses it anyway"? That's some shitty excuse if I've ever heard one. There are ways to look for AI generated work. It may be a little bit of a process sometimes, but if it makes competitions fair, then it's worth it. There are plenty of writers who don't use AI

Imagine being in a competition, writing your heart out and giving it your absolute all, and then the winner of the competition turns out to have used AI for their submission(s). The winner of that competition would have spent 5 minutes (if that) asking AI to write something FOR THEM just so they can say that they won something.

That's not fair to all of the writers who are actually trying and submitting original work. Anyone who thinks that submitting AI to any sort of competition need to rethink. Because in no way is that fair or okay. There are people who are actually TRYING their best, and you are over here spending all of 5 minutes submitting some bullshit that you didn't even write. I'm sorry, but that just makes you an asshole.

The tall, bearded, handsome Klaus may not LITERALLY exist, but his writer does, and I fell for them even harder than I fell for the OC. I became a writer in an attempt to woo this person.

5yrs later and I'm writing a story about our OCs, and my partner and I are getting engaged this year!

My main character is a black man (he's not fully complete, so I don't have details on what part of my world he came from or what the Earth equivalent is) but I am a white person who obviously has a different perspective on things due to privileges.

If it's not a bother, can BIPOC systems please share your experiences with me? How do you think they differ from white system experiences?
