"Party time?!", Edgar cheered happily and started trying to immediately bust a move on the dance floor, only to stumble stiffly because of his arthritis. "Whoops", he shrugged it off and followed up with some extremely jerky dance movies.

Why is this so hard?
Leah was a bit surprised at the old man in front of her. Regardless, she smiled up at him. “Hey, I don’t believe we’ve met.”
Edgar got a good look at the girl in front of him. Her red hair triggered a flashback of the last girl with red hair he'd met at the hospital. Aberdeen, though he'd mistaken her for his granddaughter, Anna. The red hair triggered something in his brain that helped immeidately convince him that this girl, was in fact, his granddaughter. "ANNA BANANA!",he shouted happily throwing his arms around the girl. "So sweet of you to come see old Grandpa Edgar, eh? Good to see you, sweetie!", he said with a smiled. "Did you just come to visit me though, or are you staying here too?"
Waiting in the entrance hall
*approaches, carrying cat* That won’t do. Would you like some tea or something?
Edgar eyed the new arrival with a suspicious glare in his eye, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "Real men drink liquor!", he insisted, waving an arm, before starting to follow the boy. "Fine, fine, I'll take some damn tea!"
Waiting in the entrance hall
Arielle was walking through the hall when she heard what sounded like an old man yelling. She followed the sound to see an old man with a beard standing in the entrance hall. “I’d assume do whatever the fuck you were doing before you left….where did you go exactly?”
"Dadgum heart attack!", Edgar yelled loudly, sounding almost triumphant. "But HA, even a heart attack couldn't hold down Private Edgar Roberts for long!", he cried cheerily, waving his walking stick. "Been at the City hospital...", he leaned closer to the girl, whispering almost conspiratorially, "Shhh, don't tell anyone, but the nurses were trying ot murder me!", he whispered, loudly. "I had to fight' em off with my .45. Kept coming, but ha, couldn't keep me down in the end!"
Carter walked down the hallways, eyes scanning over every decoration, every face. He needed to know everything about Thornewood in order to keep it out of harm’s way and asking people could only help him so much.
He was dressed in his usual attire, a grey suit and a black tie with shiny black dress shoes. The twenty-seven year old finally passed by the swimming pool, raising an eyebrow. Do we really need that?
While still lost in his thoughts, Carter bounded down the stairs and smirked as he found someone sitting on the couch in the Great Hall. He came up behind the stranger, eyeing the paper airplane in their hands. Stone grabbed the toy effortlessly out of the person’s hands, flashing a blindingly white smile at them as he did.
"Shouldn’t you be doing something a little more…productive?" He raised an eyebrow, not pulling away just yet.
Edgar was sitting in the entrance hall, playing with a paper airplane, making explosion noises as he pretended to zoom the plane around. His mind was back in Vietnam, and he was convinced, at the moment, that he was dodging enemy fighter planes, while out in the jungle.
He muttered to himself. "Dadgum those bastards....they can't take our country!.... gotta give 'em the old one-two eh? Just try comin' at me and my .45!"
It came as a huge shock to the delusional man when the airplane was ripped out of his hands. He immediately started, leaping up seeing foliage around him, and a shadowy figure, he was certain he was in Vietnam, and had just been surprised by an enemy. Whirling around, he instintinctively and immediately began beating at the man with his walking stick. "Hiiiii-YA! TAKE THAT YOU DIRTY, ROTTEN, VIET-CONG SCUM!!", he shouted, completely lost in his delusion. "That'll teach ya to sneak up on Private Edgar Roberts, EH?!", he swung at the man, trying to land blows wherever he could, using the walking stick as a weapon. "Not so brave without your sniper buddies now, are ya?!", he yelled, throwing in several loud war whoops, before he raised his walking stick, and began trying to shoot it like a gun. "BANG, BANG!"

Essie screamed when the elderly man grabbed him by the legs and started dragging him down the hallway. He tried to grab onto the wall or anything to stop him from being taken away by the man. “Please don’t kill me!”
"Whaaa? No way kid, I ain't gonna kill ya! Yer gonna be fine!", he shouted, looking around. "Kid you're dying, you just said so yourself! But it's okay! I won't let those dadgum Viet-Cong snipers get you! We gotta get you to a nurse kid, hang on!"
"Who are you?! Where am I?", Edgar stumbled around in confusion for a moment, before dazedly stopping, his gaze landing on the girl. The meds they’d given him before he had left the hospital were still in effect, and he was extremely confused. He smiled dazedly at the girl. "You’re beautiful! Will you marry me?", he asked, his voice sounding sincere, but a little dazed as he blinked at the girl.
"Im Hazel and I told you where you are." She said sighing. Hazel was growing tired of this. When he stopped she froze putting her hands up in front of her. Patients like him seemed unpredictable and she didn’t want to chance it. After his question however, she laughed. "Awe youre sweet but Umm no. Sorry. I think you need to find a nurse before you ask someone else."
"What, are you already engaged? Got suitors lining up?", he cried, his mind back in the 70's of his youth. "I'll fight 'em, I'll fight 'em all off!", he shouted, raising his walking stick, waving it around threateningly next to them. "Stay away from this girl, ya hear?!", he shouted, as though there were boys standing near him and Hazel. He made wild hitting motions with the stick. "Did I get 'em? HA take that suckers!", he cheered, raising the stick over his head.
Waiting in the entrance hall
"Generally their logic behind leaving people here."
Edgar frowned in confusion as he turned to look at the girl. Even though he'd never seen her before, his brain wasn't fully functional, and he thought he recognized her. "Sara Bear!", he shouted happily, throwing his arms around her, thinking she was his granddaughter, Sara. "Sweetie, it's so good to see you! What are ya doing here?"
"Woah woah easy there. Look five seconds ago you were telling me it was okay to be here and now youre flipping shit. I don’t classify that as sane."
"Who are you?! Where am I?", Edgar stumbled around in confusion for a moment, before dazedly stopping, his gaze landing on the girl. The meds they'd given him before he had left the hospital were still in effect, and he was extremely confused. He smiled dazedly at the girl. "You're beautiful! Will you marry me?", he asked, his voice sounding sincere, but a little dazed as he blinked at the girl.
Waiting in the entrance hall
"I'm back! Now what the hell do I do?", he looked around in confusion. He'd just gotten back to Thornewood after his heart attack had left him in the city hospital for a while, and now, he was just as lost as he'd been on his first day there. ""What, they're just gonna dump me and leave me here again?!"

Hazel narrowed her eyes, “Thornewood mental hospital.”
"What?!", Edgar shouted, confused, forgetting that he'd already been at Thornewood, but had only had to leave for a few months because of his heart attack. "Mental hospital? One of them places where they stick all the damn crazies? This is ridiculous! I'm not crazy!", he insisted, waving his walking stick in the air.
"I shouldn’t have even come here in the first place. Someone made a mistake."
"So? Who says ya can't have a little fun while you're here, eh?", the old man paused, scraching his beard in confusion. "Wait....where are we? Where am I?!", he cried, starting to panic in his confusion.
"I need some fucking coffee." Wynter sighed as he stood to wait for the coffee to brew.
Edgar was making his way to the dining hall just in time to hear the boy complaining about wanting coffee. Having just gotten back, Edgar quite liked the sound of a cup of coffee himself. Still a bit confused, he walked in and immediately began shouting at the coffee machine.
"You hear the man! Where's the damn coffee, eh?", he yelled, raising his walking stick and brandishing it threateningly at the coffee machine. "Do ya want a piece of me, EH?"
*lying on the floor in the hallway groaning* “This is it. I’m dying, EGYPT, DYING!”
"Dying?! OH NO!", Edgar threw up his hands in panic as he stumbled across the young man on the floor, thinking he was back in Vietnam. He recognized this boy, having met him before, but at the moment, he was convinced that this was one of the new recruits. "No way sonny, I ain't letting that happen! NO DYING ON MY WATCH!", he shouted, reaching down to try and lift up the boy, finding he couldn't, so he settled for grabbing the boy's legs. "Come on! We gotta get ya away from them Viet-Cong bastards! The camp is this way, we'll get ya a Doctor!", he shouted, huffing for breath as he tried to drag the boy down the hall by the legs.
Therapy II Open to Patients
Jasper was very excited for his first full day seeing patients. This was his first time ever getting to treat patients without someone looking over his shoulders, and he was excited to get the chance to prove himself. Eighteen years he had been waiting for this moment, and now that it was there he was as excited about it as the day he began dreaming of it.
He stretched his back for a moment behind his desk and looked over the room looking to see if everything was in the perfect place. A large loveseat sat across him on the far wall on the right side of anyone who opened the door, and on the end of the loveseat furthest from the door was a small end table with a few things to play with. Across the loveseat before Jasper’s desk was a small leather recliner and another end table but that one had tissues and Jasper’s slinky on it. The back of the loveseat and Jasper’s desk were right up against each other. On either side of both the love seat and his desk was some walking room and book cases, and behind Jasper’s leather desk chair was another book case. His degrees hung on the wall across from the door. The room was perfect to Jasper.
When he heard a knock on the door, Jasper raised his head excitedly and smiled, “Come on in!”
Edgar had very recently been deposited back at Thornewood. After a severe heart attack, he'd spent almost two months in the hospital being treated, then looked after, and had even been used in a short study about people with sleep terrors.
At the moment, he was as delusional as ever, running down the hall, waving his walking stick. Thinking the nurse who'd been guiding him to be a Viet-Cong enemy, he'd slipped away from her, and was now hurrying through the halls, thinking it was the jungle.
He burst through Jasper's door without realizing it, thinking that he had found the Viet-Cong base camp. He raised his walking stick like a gun and began pointing it around. "BANG! BANG BANG BANG!", he shouted, pretending to shoot, thinking he was actually doing so.
Realizing that there was a man in the room, he turned, aiming the stick. "US ARMY! We got ya surrounded! Now come out with yer hands up if ya know what's good for ya!"

"I want to go home."
"Wheres the Warden..or someone! I need someone to tell me when I can leave."
"Go home? Go HOME? But ya just got here, sonny!"
Why is this so hard?
"Hard? Ya wanna know hard? Try being stuck in the jungle and surrounded by them Viet-Cong bastards all shootin' at ya!", yelled Edgar cheerfully, brandishing his walking stick wildly.
