Here’s my latest work, “Little Qualicum Falls”. I started this 8×10 acrylic painting back in October but just couldn’t bring myself to calling it done until I added a few finishing details.

I had a particular vision for spacing and tolerances that required me to do round after round of bringing it closer and closer to form.

I’ve wanted to do a larger one of these for a while (I’m unsure of what to call this style). I just had no idea how long it would take. Something a little different…

This one took a while and took the best of a few pens to get done! I think I’ll be playing around with this idea some more in the next while. Tim Cranwill

Today has been earmarked as “Finish it and post it” day. I’ve been slowly working on this piece and a few others for the past month or so now. Most years, from about mid-December until mid-January my creative output takes a pause. Life swells up and saturates the landscape. Other priorities persist.
